Very true. The British did "invent" concentration camps" (or, at very least, they coined the term) but to say that...
We invented concentration camps and deliberately starved millions to maintain rule over India and so forth. There's nothing Hitler did that we hadn't done bigger and 'better' before the arrival of mass media in Victorian times.
... is ludicrous hyperbole! "Bigger and better!" Show me where the British Empire systematically slaughtered anything remotely approaching (even exponentially) 6 million people in camps expressly designed for the purpose, and we can open negotiations on your statement!

I was hyperbolic, we allowed millions of people to starve in their own homes like civilized folk do.
