Re: Blast in Oslo
He must since they don't have the death penalty on the books anyway. (at least not for murder, with a max sentence of 21 years prison, and sentences for multiple crimes to run concurrently, so not to exceed the largest).Gallstones wrote:Seriously?MrJonno wrote:Suggest its time to arrest anyone who uses the word marxist to try to describe anyone else who doesnt call themselves that as well (There are Marxist/Socialist parties that normally have names similar to Communist or Socialist party). Going around calling everyone marxists is a very good clue to being a potential sociopath , if they are armed its probably evidence enough to put them in jail for a very long time. It's one big anti-Marxist tirade.
I also hope the Norwegians prove the value of their culture and do NOT execute this person the Norwegian people are better than that
You joke.

From his log:
"Sosialdemokratiets oppgave er å bygge trygge og solide dansegulv, som menneskene selv kan danse sine liv oppå."
For those who don't know Noggy: "The social democracy's task is to build safe and solid dancefloors, that people can dance their lives on."
I mean, she's obviously just a young idealistic girl... And this guy thinks he'll be hailed as a pivotal character in the bettering of our country... It makes me sick.
This is just too much to bear... I feel absolutely depleted and depressed. She's from my town, Vartdal, where I grew up... home to 900-1000 people.
And I've just learned that a friend of my little brother, who he went to school with and who grew up in my town, is probably among the dead from the shooting. I'm looking at her facebook page:Q: But doesn’t it worry you that 95% of all Europeans will openly detest you and call you a murderer and a terrorist?
A: It’s human nature to be selfish, to seek admiration, love and affection. This is why very few people will have the self insight, the ideological and moral confidence and strength to act selflessly on behalf of their own countrymen on their own initiative without a solid hierarchical organisation or country supporting and encouraging them. We have taken these thankless tasks upon ourselves because we possess these traits; the self insight, the ideological and moral confidence and strenght and we are willing to sacrifice our lives for our brothers and sisters, even though they will openly detest us. It can be illustrated like a parent spanking their ignorant child. The child will hate their parents there and then but in time they will understand that their only intention is to protect them. In phase 2 and 3, many of these brothers and sisters will hold our banner and chant our hymns because they finally understand.

Love that quote, excellent youth way of summing up how any decent society should work"The social democracy's task is to build safe and solid dancefloors, that people can dance their lives on."

The sinister arse-hole has apparently specified that he wants the lawyer that defended the case of those who did this:

Since his guilt is unarguable, this just seems like an attempt to piss people off even further, if that were even possible.Eriku wrote:The sinister arse-hole has apparently specified that he wants the lawyer that defended the case of those who did this:

But then he's obviously a completely deranged cunt*, so applying logic to this may not work.

Eriku, Normal, anyone who needs one
Dries, don't be hard on yourself. We all react in our own ways and our reactions develop according to each person's internal "rhythm". There sure as hell isn't any "right" way to react to a tragedy. For example, I've purposely kept completely away from this news until tonight, to be able to function (we moved from the summer cottage home today, and I knew I needed my sleep). I've kept myself distanced and aloof, and refused to listen to MiM. I'm glad he could accommodate my needs, yet I do feel a kind of guilt, too, however much I tell myself that that is irrational.
22 July - yet another date that will give people the creeps in the future.

Re: Blast in Oslo
Doubt he's legally insane. He's been planning this for years, wrote a 1200 page log and manifesto, fully detailing how he was preparing, why he was doing it and who he had conferred with... apparently there are more "cells" that been in touch with him and who are of his convictions, at least to a certain degree. His English and Norwegian is impeccable in what I've read, and he seems to know political history quite well, even if he's GROSSLY distorted in his views of what the state of the nation and the world is at this point.klr wrote:Since his guilt is unarguable, this just seems like an attempt to piss people off even further, if that were even possible.Eriku wrote:The sinister arse-hole has apparently specified that he wants the lawyer that defended the case of those who did this:

He's been clear that it's about the threat to our culture and nation, how Islam is being welcomed in by the Marxist-friendly politicians and papers in Norway (fuck knows how he figures Marxism enters into it).
21 years doesn't seem enough... I hope we utilise the option of extending it as he nears release... All the way until he's drawn his last breath. He's abused his freedom in a way that's more atrocious than anything that's ever happened outside of war time in Norway.
And Ronja, thanks for the hug

If there's ever even so much a hint that he's going to be released, there will be the mother and father (and far worse) of all outcries, never mind mass civil disorder.
