That's the version I remember, though I was probably stoned at the time. They dropped the "a" from lead, to make sure it would be pronounced properly (not "leed").

BTW-- watched their 1973 Madison Square Garden Concert on TV the other day. I turned to J and said, "Wow-- they all look exactly like rock stars."

He's right! They sort of established what rock should be like, too, though not many did it as well as they did.

Saw them live twice back in the 70's - both gigs are still in my top 5 of live acts ever seen (Meatloaf, Moody Blues and Pink Floyd take the other three spots)
