What is the majority meant to do when the government has decided that the wrecking of the economy serves their political ends ?

Do you not think that it is a telling fact that apart from priests the ONLY profession that is celebrated for their skill in LYING are lawyers and that is the most common profession represented in parliament apart from professional politicians ?

Whenever a government becomes destructive to the lives and liberty of the people, and no longer serves purpose of a government which is to secure to the people their natural rights. However, governments tend to view these things differently, and are liable to kill those folks doing the rising up, so they'd best be sure not only of the justness of their cause but of their ability to defeat the government in hand-to-hand combat.

The people organising the Tea Party are no different than the politicians you distrust so much. They seek to persuade the people to support them using political power for their own ends.

What should you do when because of a quirk in the rules a Party who has not been elected comes to Government supported by another party that have abandoned EVERY principle they ever had decide that with the support of their friends in the commercial media decide that only the interests of the tiny minority of privileged few should be taken into account ?

Within the rules of the game they were elected. The group in power has a majority of seats. We might not like the alliance or the compromises required to make it work, but what is your alternative?

I don't think the majority knows if current policies are wrecking or rescuing the economy. Or indeed, if the old economic model should be saved or replaced.

The skill is persuasion, for lawyers, politicians and insurrectionist. None of those groups is above bending the truth to achieve their goals, but it is too cynical to suggest they are all inveterate liars.

No doubt many in each group see their goals as justice, good governance and freedom respectively. The failures are always more noticeable than the successes.

If you have some better answers I would love to know what they are (seriously).
