You have some explaining to do. Madame Mayor.
I don't think so.

Feck on the other hand, saved Ani with his last minute vote. I look forward to your thoughts about that.

What is it with the attitude, MZ? Being suspicious is one thing but how is someone she didn't vote for turning out to be town a huge red flag?

night chat is allowed
Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

Code: Select all

   $str = str_replace(array("\{","\}")," ",$str);

You taking my side is never going to be something I trust.

I'd like to hear more from Charlou about why she thinks Ani is town.

I'm thinking back on his scum games, and the only thing that really stands out about them is that he doesn't engage. Maybe his town game has evolved some while I wasn't looking. looking back, today feels like something in between the town ani who stirs shit to see who steps in it and the scum ani who is reserved and not very confrontational.

I don't think I've ever really leaned on Magicziggy for any length of time before this game. I fosed him on day 1 after nightfall in the last game, and he basically just kept repeating that he wanted me viewed. Given that scum killed me that night, I assume his hope was for the seer to waste a view on a soon-to-be-dead player.

Since I'm mayor, scum are probably going to assume that I'll be protected tonight. this actually gives town a little bit of room for strategy. The doctor, if we have one, could choose to protect me tonight, tomorrow night, or not at all, and could think about protecting someone else instead. If I were the doctor and the mayor, I'd probably protect someone I think is a town special.

I have a couple of ideas, but I'm not going to express them. I hope our specials will give it some thought.

I'm not really on your side oblivion, I'm just trying to get MZ to say what he's thinking, because it really makes no sense to me. I don't see any info about you at all in today's lynch much less info about you to the exclusion of everyone else.

ani's game today seems really off. It's almost like he's deliberately baiting town so that he can say he told us so later. Whatever it is, it's not protown.

Ever get that feeling when a line up of soldiers is asked to volunteer, and everyone else steps backwards, leaving you standing out by yourself ?

Well, I'm here, and happy to join in. Let me look at the rules and then see if I'm ebil or in'zent.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

Me,attitude? You are kidding right?

Oblivion is playing the loosest game ever. Three clear "errors" in statements made about players actions.
It's ok for Oblivion to reckon she's "leaned" on me. Isn't that the same thing as I'm doing to her? Pretty one-sided view UT.

Charlou:
Jumped on a fluff post out of the blocks. This is the easiest move in the book for scum to make. She got two for one.
Didn't vote, let others rough up Normal a bit and he got over the line.

Feck:
UT, you called it. When I read it it screamed scum. I dunno, believe it or not, I've been wrong before. But I'm calling it as I see it.
He even made a clinching vote on Normal. That doesn't look good on him or Ani unfortunately.

Ani:
I can't see him being so vocal as scum, even defensively. He just played a scum game. Quietly in my view.

Oblivion:
You will see that I had her on my town list, even though she was apparently leaning on me. That was fair play. It seemed townish at the time.
However, as I've continued to assert my views, she seems to have become more and more anxious to discredit me. The "sloppy" play and blaming on RL circumstances is unlike Oblivion. The first game I ever played, she was scum. She used RL to cover for her absence at one point and create sympathy. That's data.

Other than that, I have nothing. :tea:
