Well I must say, the first two were truly excellent. - But they did both have a tiny little problem that I think might have been mentioned a few times in the previous thread; they were no more evidence for allah, than they were evidence for teacups in space.
that is so laughable mate. are you seriously saying a teacup is intelligent?
No, I was making the point that, so far, your 'evidences' have had no logical connection with the existence of allah. I'm not saying a teacup is intelligent, because you've yet to show evidence of any 'intelligence'.

And how come you're ignoring my pleas to hear the rest of the 'evidences' as soon as possible?
Psychoserenity wrote: mandelson, just in case you missed it when the other thread was locked -

I think you should post all five at once, so we can point out how wrong they are, all in one go, and then get on with our lives.

But I suspect that you would prefer to drag this out for another twenty pages for each 'evidence'.

Prove me wrong.

Let's see if we can get this finished today, eh?

What if the fifth 'evidence' is the one that finally convinces us all? How can you justify holding that back from us?
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

Nope... all over the UK (and the EU).
Following voltage harmonization, electricity supplies within the European Union are now nominally 230 V ± 10% at 50 Hz [1]. For a transition period (1995–2008), countries that had previously used 220 V changed to a narrower asymmetric tolerance range of 230 V +6% −10% and those (like the UK) that had previously used 240 V changed to 230 V +10% −6%.

mandelson wrote: but ill answer what Coito said about the size.
The universe being big or small does not evidence a creator. It doesn't evidence anything other than that the universe is bigger than we are. Big is a relative term. There is no such thing as "big" independently of a comparison between one thing and another. If you look at your car, you see that it is not as big as your house. There isn't necessarily any greater meaning than that. Galaxies are bigger than stars, and the universe is bigger than galaxies, and planets are smaller than stars and people are smaller than planets. That's just a statement of the way things are, and has no bearing on why they are.
you are right mate. its a good logical point. size dont matter.
Then, for the record, you have admitted that your second proof for god is not, in fact, a proof for the existence of god.

Holy shit. I managed to stop Gawd's thread rampage with a single word...
"The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of God, Jesus and Mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of Satan. Many people don't like that statement but few can argue with it."

Beauty is subjective. It is an opinion. It does not, itself, exist.
i see your point mate and Coito said something similiar too. but you two are not right.
how do you know beauty is not real.
I did not say that it isn't real.

I said that beauty does not exist itself.

Beauty is an attribute.

Beauty exists in the same way that "wetness" exists, as a property of something else
mandelson wrote:have you got any evidence there there is nothing pretty out there. just coz you or 100 other people say Cheryl is ugly dont mean she is ugly.
but lets pretend you two are right. then that makes it your own view.
if beauty is subjective to you, then you can only say beauty does not exists as far as you are concerned. you cant speak for fans of beauty.
Again, that is not what I said.
mandelson wrote:
But, let's assume for a second that it is true. That means that the following is equally valid:

Existence of evil is evidence that there has to be an designer malevolent.
now you are cooking mate. thats exactly my point.
Cheryl is evidence of Allah and an ugly cow is evidence of Iblis.
No. You have already claimed that Allah is the Creator of all things, that Allah is THE Designer, that Allah controls each and every thing that happens in the universe.

So, the existence of evil is evidence that, if there is a designer, then it must be malevolent. You just agreed with this.

So:

P1: Allah is THE (as in the only) creator of everything.
P2: The existence of evil is evidence that the "creator" is malevolent.

C: Allah, being the creator, is malevolent.
mandelson wrote:see what you just did there MrFungus420, youre using your brain to see logic aint ya. if you follow it you can find out that Allah's Throne which is located past the 7th galaxy.
Yes, I did use my brains to see logic.

The logical conclusion, based on what you have said, is that Allah is malevolent.
P1: I am a nobody.
P2: Nobody is perfect.
C: Therefore, I am perfect
