What are the perks associated with this mayoral gig?

The OP says that the mayor has 1.5 votes for lynching, so potentially a tie breaker, but that seems to be it.

We want someone we think is town. The only power the mayor has is 1.5 votes, but that can make a big difference in a close lynch vote.

I am with town, but if I nominate and get made mayor would I get whacked tonight? Is that what happens - scum kill someone overnight?

There is nothing in the OP about the night actions, and even in the sign up thread all the talk was of game days, none of nights.

Will the Mayor be killed? Hard to say. It depends on what scum decides. They might figure that the Mayor will be protected and so they will kill someone else. Or -- the Mayor might be scum. A seer could tell that.
