Anyway, since I liked The Fantastic Mr. Fox so much, I bought Rushmore, and just watched it. I thought it was great

Also just watched Funny People. Worth the price just to see Sarah Silverman's vagina

I watched Aliens the other night. It was a directors cut although there is only one bit I could make out added but its a long time since I've seen it. Still a good movie. And at least the directors cut of this wasn't as bad as the directors cut of Terminator 2. Its like Those bits were taken out by the editor for a good reason James you should've listened to him.tattuchu wrote:Oh. Also just watched The Abyss, cuz I wanted to check out another James Cameron film, having seen Avatar recently. It should've been called The Abysmal. My god it was fucking horrible

And those Zumwalts are already useless, they can be taken out with an ICBM.

ALIENS is one of my favorite sci-fi actioners of all time. I've seen both the Theatrical and Director's cuts quite a few times. From off the top of my head here are the additions in the Director's cut:Animavore wrote:I watched Aliens the other night. Loved that one. One of his "lost classics" IMNSHO.Deep Sea Isopod wrote:In The Name Of The Rose.

It was actually really good.
For me the talking dog stole that movie.DP wrote:Went to see Up in the air tonight, not too bad, good performance from Clooney.
I adore Kate Winslet, and loved her in this role.Rum wrote:Saw The Reader on TV last night. A superb movie about a love affair between a boy of 16 and an ex concentration camp guard in her late 30s and what happens over time to them both. Highly recommended.
Yay. Someone else has seen it. I've been trying to get people to see this since last summer. I was all alone for a while.Xamonas Chegwé wrote:Just finished watching Antichrist. Beautiful, disturbing, stylish, confusing, shocking and magnificent. If David Lynch and Ingmar Bergman had contracted rabies while on LSD and decided to make a horror film together, it might have been something like this.

It was amazing. The only other film by him I have seen Dancer in the Dark (and, to be honest, I didn't realise it was by him until yesterday - I saw it quite a while ago.) I am after Dogville next.Animavore wrote:Yay. Someone else has seen it. I've been trying to get people to see this since last summer.
