I was in the Navy in San Diego when Clue came out. You had to chose your showing because they only showed one ending per performance. ~1986, IIRC.

So did I. I'd better not watch it now. I did recently see Robinhood Prince of Thieves after loving that film when I was young and it was the biggest pile of cack I've seen in a long time (besides new Indiana Jones)

I think I vaguely remember there being a couple of different endings on the VHS which played more like three possible scenarios. I didn't realise they were separate in the cinema.
