I didn't watch enough of the video, but perhaps she was referring to the media's relative focus on various leftish issues. Not being acquainted with American media I can't tell if she might have a point or not.

No point.

I watched Fox News once, so I can confirm that the Merkin Media is completely pointless.

Racists can be entertaining, especially when you send them to the re-education camps.

It's boilerplate stuff really. We could get more done if we weren't being distracted. Chomskyites would instantly recognize a theme.

I happen to think she's wrong here. I doubt our distraction with Rogan has much to do with anything in Washington on that front.

But I trust her distaste for the significance given to Rogan gate. At the very least she is expressing something I know I feel often enough: frustration at how few people and interests drive so much conversation.

By cutting off the video you spared yourself hearing more of Ms. Ball's concerns re: the threat to democracy from tech oligarchy and bigoted leftists. I admit I got through it by turning the sound off and using the captions.
There are legitimate concerns about the reach and influence of the 'tech oligarchy' which I think have to be addressed when debunking their claimed ideological association with 'woke' or 'bigoted leftists'.

Oliver has spoken out against Rogan’s penchant for misinformation in the past, but he admits the issue may be endemic among podcasters and TV personalities.

“I think there is also an issue regarding people on podcasts or TV just confidentially pontificating about something they haven’t really done the research on,” Oliver said.

However, Oliver needed only two words to sum up his desire to do his own podcast on Spotify: “Fuck no.”

“Would you like to talk with [Canadian professor and anti-trans activist] Jordan Peterson every month with a laptop next to you? No. I’m good, actually.”

Of course, Oliver is pretty busy preparing for the season premiere of “Last Week Tonight” on Feb. 20.
