Yeah, a recent article in the NewScientist suggested that the drop in the death rate per infected person was real, not an artefact of testing numbers etc., and that better medical treatment of those who are hospitalised was a major factor...

Early on the hospitals were being overwhelmed, and so took in only the worst cases, plus there was widespread use of hydroxychloroquine, which it turned out did nothing.

Some important unknowns are why, and how representative the findings will be of different hospital systems at various stages of the pandemic.

The NewScientist article I read emphasised how difficult it was to properly analyse the data at the moment. The authors suggested that the death rate was going down, but without a high degree of certainty. When this pandemic is mostly over, there will need to be teams of statistical experts gathering and studying the world-wide data in great detail, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, before definitive conclusions can be drawn.

Yep just as I was saying. The data is not trustworthy as there are too many variables and no agreed definitions. Especially out continents as Africa and Asia. Statisticians will be kept busy for years verifying data.

So you have to wipe your ass with your hand since no toilet paper, and then you use the hand cleaner to sanitize your digits.
