She is not an actor. She read her letter in her own voice. In fact, she was in control. she also is not seeking a job. She has little to gain, she can continue in her job no matter who becomes judge.

You are not recognizing that your boy failed. No FBI report needed. He does not have the qualifications for the job. His speech was pathetic.
She is not an actor by trade, but she is a psychology professor and has three degrees in psychology, and it showed in her presentation. She did not present her testimony in her own voice - she pretended to be a little girl, meek and wilting, when she is a capable and accomplished person. That's not her voice, and her body language was designed to be the "I'm little and I'm pretty" presentation.

She was in control, because nobody challenged her a bit. The prosecutor scored points through careful, easy questions, appearing never to test Dr. Ford's assertions. No cross examination feel at all. It had to be that way, because any cross examination or focus on the holes in her story would be plastered in the media as some sort of bullying of a victim.

On the other hand, Kavanaugh, the "white male" who should have "shut up" anyway, he was accused of being a black-out drunk, serial abuser of women, and not only a rapist but also a gang rapist who participates in conspiracies to drug and rape women, and he had the quotes in his yearbook brought up for explanation. Everyone "understands" why Dr. Ford would have mistakes and failures of memory, but Judge Kavanaugh is expected to have perfect recall of an event he denied ever happened. LOL.

Uh oh! Kavanaugh drank in high school, that corroborates Dr. Ford's story! He was drinking and doesn't remember jumping on Dr. Ford! (paraphrasing several prominent news sources). There was no reporting that Dr. Ford was a big drinker in high school and therefore she might be misremembering the events in question which did not involve Dr. Ford at all. To do that would be victim blaming.

Just why do you libertarians want this judge, who will always rule in favor of corporations, churches etc against individuals? The only right left to you is guns.

There is no evidence of her being a drinker at 15, when she was assaulted. He was seen by dozens, at age 17-18, drunk.

The Democrats have so sullied the integrity of the process, that a failure to confirm Kavanaugh means that their dishonest, deceitful tactics worked. It will mean that the next time the Democrats nominate a Justice, the GOP asshats will remember, and they have as much of a lie machine as the Democrats. "Don't look for it, Taylor! You may not like what you find..."

Did you look over her yearbook? Did it seem like she was a non-drinker? I'm not sure why you are making this assumption, unless it is to help you paint her as a lovely woman, who never attended parties where it was common to get blackout drunk and chase younger boys...

That last one can ensure many of the others.

Not for you, because I think you prefer the government to do your shooting for you. The height of privilege is claiming that you don't need to defend yourself (while others do it for you)

Are you sure about that? It might have started before the Kavanaugh thing...in fact, it might have been BOTH parties ramping up the stupid over the years, to see what sticks.

Everyone loves a lurid sex story. If people loved financial malfeasance as much, THAT would be the central story.

I may have the decade wrong but I do have experience with teens in the critical 14-15 range when bad things happen. We had some girls that went bad just then. Nothing much came of them as adults. Not one that I recall went to college. They got the simple jobs, had a few babies, smoked pot and tobacco and drank a lot. They became the Trump voters eventually.

Again, your information is inaccurate. Dr. Ford admitted drinking at the very party she attended. She is 100% certain, of course, that she had "one beer" and that Kavanaugh drank lots and lots -- convenient that she remembers how many beers she had, and how much Kavanaugh had, but doesn't remember who drove her to the party, whose house she was at, and who picked her up and drove her home after she left the house.

She ran out of the house - alone - and onto the street - so relieved to be out of that house. No cell phones available. She managed to find a friend to drive her home that day. But, she never explained why she was stranded, why she had to be picked up and why she left the party, etc.

She remembers no details that would help confirm or refute what happened, where and when. But, she does remember she had 1 beer, and that she never mentioned it to her parents because she did not want them to know she was drinking with boys.....

https://www.realclearinvestigations.com ... books.html "classmates said the former cheerleader, who was known as “Chrissy," was part of the underage drinking tradition that was no secret among Maryland prep schools in the early 1980s," "One [yearbook] published a photo of Ford and other girls at a Halloween party alongside a caption boasting of “pass[ing] out” after playing “Quarters” and other binge-drinking games." ...probably the passing out and playing quarters only happened once, though...lol
One section, “While the Parents Were Out,” talked about partying with boys at area house parties where kids got so drunk they “ruined" their parents' “heirloom Persian rugs” with vomit.

“The tenth grade taught us how to party,” the girls bragged in another section. And, “Loss of consciousness is often an integral part of the party scene.”
Tenth grade -- she was 15. She turned 15 on November 28, 1981, which was her sophomore year - that's the year that "taught her how to party."

Let's have the FBI ask some of her tenth grade classmates about her behavior, lol.

The Holton-Arms yearbooks in question, which cover her sophomore, junior and senior years, are titled "Scribe ’82," "Scribe ’83" and "Scribe ’84."
Very nice of Kavanaugh to point her way into drinking and partying with boys. I'm sure they were nicer liberal boys who never had to force themselves on her. she obviously hated Brett. His wrong move.
“The tenth grade taught us how to party,” the girls bragged in another section. And, “Loss of consciousness is often an integral part of the party scene.”
Not her words. She caught on by 11th grade, thanks again Brett for pushing her into drinking.
