There at Evergreen, these supposed innocent children, just "trying to find their place," were out hunting for professor Weinstein, stopping traffic, harassing occupants of vehicles and demanding information on the identities of persons, among other things, such that law enforcement warned the professor to stay away from campus because he was in physical danger. He was forced to hold classes off campus.

So, the nice, but misguided, kids, just trying make their way in this crazy old world, drove tuition paying students off campus in order to attend their evolutionary biology class. And, they did so in furtherance of their ideology.

These, nice, kind, little college kiddies, just trying to find a place in the world, and going through what everyone does growing up, well, they threatened violence if their list of demands were not met. The crime of the offending professor was to say that a person's right to speak, or even just "to be," on a college campus should not be based on race. That's what he did wrong. And, that's what these innocent children are protesting, and you're pretending that this is something we all do as impetuous, crazy kids in our halcyon days?

I am viewing success based on the numbers relative to unemployment, labor participation, industrial output, GDP growth, overall standard of living, taxation level, interest rates, inflation rates, business growth, balance of trade, and other such issues.

They know who the adults are. They are on film. And, it was a faculty member who threatened the guy's wife (calling for someone to "collect" her "racist ass" - although there is not a shred of evidence that the liberal, progressive liberal arts professor wife of a liberal, progressive Bernie-voting evolutionary biologist has a "racist ass" - anyone who objects to the mob, or is married to someone who objects to the mob, gets this treatment) . The administration of the school is complicit, and has instructed campus police to "stand down." They've allowed the students to take over the library, threaten other students, and "hunt" for a professor whose only crime is to voice opposition to a racist "no whites allowed" day on campus. Nothing has been done about it, and the school administration is doing nothing about it, because much of the school administration identifies ideologically with the mob. That's one of the points made by professor Weinstein in his interview on the Rubin Report.

Indeed, which is a point I made repeatedly about Obama's unemployment numbers. When Obama's dropping unemployment rate coincided with the decrease in the labor participation rate to record levels, that feature was rather well ignored. That's why one of the points I made relative to measures of success was "labor participation rate" and I would add, if I didn't already, the U6 underemployment numbers. Success on his part would be measured in part on how he gets labor participation up, and underemployment down, while keeping unemployment low. That's a tough thing, but if he can do it, he will be to that extent a success in my view.

Not sure, but since international climate "accords" imposing "voluntary" standards are not particularly high on my list of national priorities, it's not particularly centrally featured in my analysis of what would make a Trump Presidency a success. It's a good idea to get rid of it, because it's not fair, and because it opens the door to pernicious lawsuits (since Trump is already getting rid of the domestic regulations which were designed to have the US meet its Paris Accord "goals." If he's getting rid of the "steak" (the domestic regulations), then the "sizzle" of the Paris Accords should go, if only to be consistent. Retaining the Paris Accords, without taking measures to fulfill the goals would be hypocritical and dishonest.

Reasonable minds can differ, I think, about whether it's a good idea to retain the Paris goals and the domestic legislation/regulations designed to fulfill them. But, if we're not going to honor the goals, then I think we should get rid of the whole thing.

So, it's a report by Bret Weinstein of what he was told directly by the Chief of Police, Stacy Brown. There have been no denials of the allegation by the chief of police or the school administration, and the police have done not much of anything.

Were that the case, then china should do the most. China and India had no obligations under the agreement until 2030. Also, the Accords do not address coal, and while the US is reducing coal in its power mix, China and India are building plants at a rapid pace (probably 1000 new plants will be built in the next decade). Among other things.

Even James Hansen called the Accords a fraud ,and just worthless words.
