cont. http://www.politicususa.com/2016/05/28/ ... broke.htmlWhen Donald Drumpf told Republicans that his campaign had money, it was a lie. In meeting with Senate Republicans, Drumpf's campaign privately admitted that they have no money and will not be able to run television ads until after the GOP convention in July.
Donald Drumpf’s campaign has alerted Senate Republicans that he won’t have much money to spend fending off attacks from Hillary Clinton over the next couple months.
The notice came when Paul Manafort, Drumpf’s senior advisor, met with a group of Senate Republican chiefs of staff for lunch last week, sources familiar with the meeting told the Washington Examiner. The admission suggests that Drumpf will be far more dependent on the GOP brass for money than he has led voters to believe, but it’s consistent with his reliance on the Republican National Committee to provide a ground game in battleground states.
“They know that they’re not going to have enough money to be on TV in June and probably most of July, until they actually accept the nomination and get RNC funds, so they plan to just use earned media to compete on the airwaves,” one GOP source familiar with Manafort’s comments told the Examiner.
Drumpf is also refusing to use his own money to fund his campaign. In other words, what Donald Drumpf is telling the voters is completely different from what is happening behind closed doors.

sounds like what one might say to Senate Republicans if one was looking to get them to infuse some money into the fight against Hillary Clinton....
Donald Drumpf’s campaign has alerted Senate Republicans that he won’t have much money to spend fending off attacks from Hillary Clinton over the next couple months.
That is, of course, if the GOP brass will fund him. So far, it seems more likely they will put up a third party candidate to make him lose to Hillary Clinton, because the GOP conservative wing thinks Hillary is either more conservative or more controllable than Trump. Anyone who is out for the good of the country and the world knows that we should support the candidate that the GOP brass prefers....

What does he need to be on TV for ? -- Trump has the nomination locked up, and Hillary is not done with her nomination process yet.

He has self funded about 2/3, with most of the rest coming from small private donors. Big money donors account for about 1/2 of one percent of his funding. And, that's far better in that regard than any other candidate.
This is just grasping at straws.

Nor have I tried. Hillary is liar and a crook, and a neocon hawk. Obama was given a free pass on much of his Presidency, rarely held accountable where his predecessor would be held accountable. Obama's gutting of the military has really hurt us, and he has ignored the VA, and Obamacare is debacle. The economy has not recovered and too many people are still out of work. He has run up taxes, increased needless regulations and failed to properly regulate where it was needed.piscator wrote:Your failures are your own business. You can't blame Obama or Hillary.
I don't see where you can say this about Trump supporters. The ones setting fires, turning over cop cars, and suggesting that the western third of the country be chopped off and given to Mexico are OPPOSING Trump. The ones that want to burn down "America" are the leftist progressives, who claim to loathe capitalism, claim to support socialism, and consider America to be the greatest danger to world peace and a racist, hegemonic despot....piscator wrote:
Most Trumpkins want to burn down America as well as the dickheaded Republican Party that conned them for so long. Is that what you want, or do you mostly blame yourself for the way you voted?
Conned them for so long? Who has been in power for the last 7 1/2 years? Is Obama a tool of the Republican Party? The Democratic Party had no influence in Congress? What is this nonsense about the Republican party conning them, without reference to the Democratic Party? Democrats don't con? The good stuff that happens is what Democrats did, and all the bad stuff is Republican, right?
My votes have always been just fine. I've been hoping for a liberal shift in the Republican party for a long time. The hijacking of the GOP by the religious right may well be ending. And, I'm glad to see it.

Lol.
Talk about a lack of self-awareness.
cont. https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... story.htmlDonald Drumpf looked like a fool and a fraud on Sunday. But what else is new?
Even the most ardent Trumpistas would have to admit that Drumpf’s appearance at the annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally was, as spectacles go, pretty pathetic. It was supposed to be a vast, multitudinous gathering on the plaza in front of the Lincoln Memorial, one of the greatest and most historic public spaces in the nation. Instead, Drumpf drew a paltry crowd estimated by organizers at perhaps 5,000.
As Drumpf might say in a late-night tweet: “Sad!”
The presumptive Republican nominee cut a ridiculous figure, sporting a red “Make Donald Drumpf Again” baseball cap to guard against rogue breezes that might unhinge his comb-over. He lamented the attendance: “I thought this would be like Dr. Martin Luther King, where the people would be lined up from here all the way to the Washington Monument, right?”
Wrong. So very, very wrong.
He claimed that the anticipated throng was out there, but “unfortunately, they don’t allow ’em to come in.” That was a lie; there were no hordes outside the security perimeter, pleading for admittance. Since everyone present could easily discern the truth, Drumpf must have been lying to himself — perhaps to ease the sting of what can only be seen as an awful week for his campaign.
Talk about a lack of self-awareness.

Why is it always bread and circuses? Why can't we have corndogs and county fairs? County fairs are far more fun than a stupid circus, and corndogs are far tastier than plain old bread. You'd have to be a moron to be satisfied with bread and circuses, I want MORE from my government. Nay, I DEMAND more! They work for us, not the other way around.
Yeah well that's just, like, your opinion, man.

The Keystone Pipeline is a great idea. Why can pipelines be built in other countries, but not in the US? There are pipelines all over the world - the only ones that the world seems to protest, of course, are in the United States -- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_oil_pipelinesScot Dutchy wrote:Cant somebody shoot him! FFS he should be locked up.Donald Trump would allow Keystone XL pipeline and end Paris climate dealRepublican nominee took veiled shots at those who are concerned about global warming and endorsed drilling off the Atlantic coast in a speech on energy policy Donald Trump pledged to cancel the Paris climate agreement, endorsed drilling off the Atlantic coast and said he would allow the Keystone XL pipeline to be built in return for “a big piece of the profits” for the American people.
At an oil and natural gas conference in North Dakota on Thursday, just minutes after he had celebrated hitting the 1,237 delegate mark needed to formally clinch the party’s nomination, Trump gave a speech on energy policy that was largely shaped by advice from Kevin Cramer, a US representative from the state.
In a press conference before the event, Trump praised the advice of oil tycoon Harold Hamm. Hamm and Cramer then introduced him onstage.
.....
He contrasted this approach with that of Hillary Clinton, whose plan to combat climate change he called “a poverty expansion agenda”. Trump also attacked renewable energy sources, claiming that solar energy was too expensive and attacking wind turbines for “killing eagles”.

How about Europe dismantle its pipelines --

And, let's see the protests against the Pan European Pipeline -
Can somebody just shoot the European leaders? I mean, what the fuck is with all these pipelines they've built???? They're maniacs! Maniacs, I say! Shoot them!

Oh, and Trump endorsed drilling off the Atlantic coast!!!!! Whattttt!!!!!???? He's a monster! Just like those European monsters, drilling off of European coasts, in the North Atlantic, all over the North Sea..... http://www.offshore-mag.com/drilling-co ... urope.html And, of course the drilling for natural gas in the Mediterranean Sea -- those MONSTERS are as bad as Trump! Right? LOL - yes, indeed, the US ought never drill offshore. Leave that to the Norwegians, Brits, Israelis, Greeks, French, Danes, Germans..... proper oil drillers....
drill in the Atlantic ..... how can anyone seriously contemplate such activity???? Would be monstrous to do so.... the very concept is absurd...

Funny how they like to call him Drumpf. I rember when it was racist to say barrack hussein Obama, which is his actual name.
A rational skeptic should be able to discuss and debate anything, no matter how much they may personally disagree with that point of view. Discussing a subject is not agreeing with it, but understanding it.

The kind where you sit and watch acrobats and trapeze people and clowns and stuff. Booooooorrrring. County fairs have all sorts of weird deep-fried foods and dangerous rides run by skeevie carneys. They used to have Freak Shows till the P.C. brigade fucked that up too. How's a flipper boy going to earn a living these days? There are all sorts of midway games, a cheesy Haunted House, and lots of livestock and home made jam competitions.Animavore wrote: What type of circus do you go to?
