And actually, it's just like arguing with creationists. When they ask, "where are the transitional fossils", they're not asking because they're genuinely interested in the answer; they're asking because they're convinced they don't exist and they think they've got you stumped. That's why no matter how many you show them, they'll continue to deny their existence.
It's the same here. They didn't ask Obama if he'd shot a gun because they really wanted to know; they asked because they were sure he never had.
The conspiracy theorists are at it again! Skeetergate!

What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Very true. The photo isn't fake, and they'd be stupid to fake it. They do have a shooting range at camp david, and all they have to do is bring him out there for the photo op. The fake photo people do themselves a disservice because they then can't make the argument that the photo op is just a contrived photo op, and that Obama doesn't really shoot guns "all the time."Gerald McGrew wrote:It shows how ridiculous the right is with Obama. To me, it's obvious from his choice of words that he doesn't shoot all the time. When asked by the reporter "the whole family?" Obama responded, "...not the girls...but, our guests go up there..." etc. He was very careful not to ever say "I shoot at the range all the time..." or "very often" etc.
I'm sure he has fired a gun. I'm just convinced that it's not one of his hobbies, that he doesn't have much of an interest in it, and he does not shoot skeet "all the time" (or even very often, if at all). If he did, it would have been mentioned before, at some point in the past 4 years, because he would have been doing it routinely. The press mentions his golfing, beach trips, bowling, basketball, and other hobbies. Why the closed mouths on his "all the time" skeet shooting?Gerald McGrew wrote: And actually, it's just like arguing with creationists. It's a failed political move. I don't know who his press manager is, but he/she is an idiot.

Parsing down to the last syllable. FFS.
If you don't like being called "stupid", then stop saying stupid things.
