Maine Man Arrested After Bringing Gun To 'The Dark Knight Rises'
In a frightening turn of events, The Boston Herald is reporting that a man in Maine was arrested on Sunday after bringing a loaded gun into a screening of The Dark Knight Rises.
According to police reports, Timothy Courtois, 49, was pulled over for speeding in the wee hours of Sunday morning. The officers on the scene discovered a cache of firearms inside the vehicle, along with numerous press clippings detailing the Friday morning shootings in Aurora, Colorado, that left 12 theater patrons dead during a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises."
Courtois reportedly then admitted that he himself had just attended a screening of the film in Saco, Maine, with a loaded gun smuggled inside the theater in handbag.
Just what exactly Courtois was planning is unclear, though he apparently told police that he was heading to New Hampshire to kill his "former employer."
