Maine Man Arrested After Bringing Gun To 'The Dark Knight Rises'

In a frightening turn of events, The Boston Herald is reporting that a man in Maine was arrested on Sunday after bringing a loaded gun into a screening of The Dark Knight Rises.

According to police reports, Timothy Courtois, 49, was pulled over for speeding in the wee hours of Sunday morning. How is this a copy cat? He sat in the dark for three hours with a concealed firearm, then left, got pulled over for something completely unrelated and finally told police he wanted to kill one specific individual. The only similarity is that he saw the Batman movie.
'Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man -- living in the sky -- who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do.. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! ..But He loves you.' - George Carlin

You have the catalyst right there. Nolan's new Batman seems to a call to arms for every tit with an imagined grievance. This guy, Holmes, Myers.

Batman doesn't use guns. That's kinda his thing. He's kinda anti-gun, actually, but more out of a sense of fairness. You can use a gun, but I can't cuz I'm fucking Batman!
