Would that include the Hitler Youth literacy Programme?
I'm not a snob, I'm actually serious, writing rubbish is piss easy, writing rubbish consistently takes skill and effort. I've had editors tell me to "dumb it down" and know it's fucking hard work. To have your sentence structure and your words limited and to strip away anything that some might consider offensive or challenging to the L.C.D. is quite a feat. It's really really quite difficult.

Good luck to them I say. Writing Prolefeed deserves it's financial rewards since even the worst hack has to dumb it down to write at that level and still consider themselves a writer. It must take it's toll psychologically.
I'm wild just like a rock, a stone, a tree
And I'm free, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I flow, just like a brook, a stream, the rain
And I fly, just like a bird up in the sky
And I'll surely die, just like a flower plucked
And dragged away and thrown away
And then one day it turns to clay
It blows away, it finds a ray, it finds its way
And there it lays until the rain and sun
Then I breathe, just like the wind the breeze that blows
And I grow, just like a baby breastfeeding
And it's beautiful, that's life

Read Anaïs Nin instead.
A book is a version of the world. If you do not like it, ignore it; or offer your own version in return.

Well in so far as she's never going to write anything that is as remotely influential I'll give you in that respect yes. Other than that? Fucking rubbish.Twoflower wrote:Harry Potter is a masterpiece!!!!Audley Strange wrote:My wife said it's basically Mills and boon with a tad of BDSM and preposterous plots.
