Either the budget cuts are biting the Navy hard, or we're preparing for a surge late in the year. I wonder which it is?
I guess we'll know in a few months.

But it's true! Some sailors emerged embedded in the hull of the ship when it reappeared. Someone said that they read about someone saying they saw it....Gawdzilla wrote:I lost a good 1/4 inch off my teeth during that movie.Clinton Huxley wrote:One of the greatest movies of all time..Gawdzilla wrote:Clinton Huxley wrote:Or, some of the carriers have been sucked through a time tunnel to just before the Pearl Harbour attack, like in that film...."The Final Countdown".

I just watched it and it frustrated me. First the handling of the Japanese pilot, how easy he got hold of a gun, they just let him sit there, not in restraint of any kind, as if he'd cooperate with them for some reason.....then when that fat senator got mad and hit that first pilot and the pilot went down unconscious?? then he gets the whole helicopter blown up while fighting with TWO navy guys, come on, he couldn't have been stronger than they are? then at the end when what's his name gets into the limo with two survivors from that island and we don't know what happens afterward.Gawdzilla wrote:Trust me, it was far worse for a Pearl Harbor buff than for the average person.
