Zimmerman is perfectly entitled to follow Martin and vice versa. Mere following and mere asking for an explanation of what someone is doing there, is not a license of Martin to attack Zimmerman, or vice versa.

With this kind of defense and reasoning we could have and additional thousands of murders claiming the same thing.

It's just a fact. If I walk out of my house today, and someone is walking in my neighborhood, I am 100% within my rights to walk up to that person and say "hey, what are you doing here?"

so would that also mean I can just walk through your neighborhood, I can walk up to a person that looks suspicious to me and ask them what they're doing there?

I'm pretty sure that if Zimmerman had not been allowed to carry a gun, Martin would be alive, and Zimmerman would be not facing a murder charge.

As far as the photo goes, it's hardly the withholding of vital evidence, and it's not clear that the photo can be trusted. The chain of evidence isn't clear.

To you perhaps, but then again you don't know what you're talking about, so it's hardly determinative. The police, on the other hand, those who actually saw Zimmerman's head at the time, can easily corroborate or refute the photo when it's time to do so...in court.

The police reports state that Zimmerman was bleeding from the head and nose.

Which means that the police actually observed blood on Zimmerman, which is corroborated by the photos, including the ones you HAVEN'T seen that the police certainly have but have declined to release to the press, as they are required to do.

The prosecution are hardly likely to dispute police statements. There OUGHT to be plenty of available evidence, that hasn't been released to the public.

But if you don't cause a fight and someone attacks you unlawfully, while a gun doesn't "entitle" you to kill someone, their actions may well do exactly that, and it's appearing more and more like Martin's actions got him killed and that Zimmerman acted lawfully in doing so.

A gun licence isn't a licence to kill.

He needed no stitches. His "broken nose" was minor. And there is no proof how he got them.

He doesn't need proof how he got them, the prosecution needs proof that he DID NOT get them as the result of being feloniously attacked by Martin. Presumption of innocence and all that doncha know...

Jump on someone, and you might easily cut your head on the pavement, and they might well punch you on the nose.

And all the prosecution has to do is prove beyond a reasonable doubt that that's the way it happened and Zimmerman will go to prison for murder. But it's not looking very good for the prosecution's case at the moment, as all the evidence available to the public points to corroboration of Zimmerman's story and a justifiable shooting.

It's basically a publicity-hungry wanker, trying to get involved for the money.
