Pathetic. If you write a silly post, try to mend it with a stupid one.

Great idea.

No matter how you try to whitewash this, mistermack, your post remains as idiotic as ever.

Coito, you can claim to have meant whatever you like. But if you claim that in this post:

Your own economy? No. But, your pride and self-respect? That's another matter... I mean...it's Brazil, dude.
- you were not saying that losing a place to Brazil, in a list of economies by size, ought to have hurt our pride, - then you have to admit that what you wrote means something entirely different to what you meant to write.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

lol - look at the nonsense you typed and the way you've tried to squirm out of it.

Care to restate your lecture on how Europe's economy is really "bigger" than the US economy? And, then reiterate how much "better" you argued the British economy is?

Yes - losing out to fucking Brazil, a third world country, ought to be a blow to your pride. If you think that means that I'm a "stereotypical American" who thinks that "everything bigger must be better" then that's your own prejudice and bigotry coming through loud and clear.

I admit I kak when I kak - you on the other hand continue with the "stereotypical" European pomposity and superiority complex. Everything, including your economy is better. The US economy is "fake."

You're a fucking joke.

What were you saying about how much better the British economy than the fake ones?

Shall we add "economy" to the list of things that are better in Britain?

So you are aware, there is a margin of error, so could be between 2018 and 2025.....

Just as long as it is not past 2030. After that year, the actuarial tables suggest that the likelihood of me picking up the phone will drop dramatically.

You don't need to look at China.

The EU is a union of states. The US is a union of states.
The EU gets closer to a political union day by day. It will probably happen before China hits the front in the GDP "race".

And suggesting that Britons should be embarrassed for falling behind Brazil, as in "I mean, .....it's Brazil, Dude", is not far short of racist.

Brazil has three times the UK population and thirty times the land area. It has natural resources that the UK doesn't.

What logical reason can anybody give to expect Brazil's economy to not overtake that of the UK? Other than the idea that a country with black and brown people can't compete with a mostly white country.

Fuck off with the racist comment. I know many Brazilians and I've been there many times and I speak Portuguese. I'm familiar with the Brazilian economy and way of life. You?

Racist - what a dick comment.

Charles DeGaulle -- "Brazil is not a serious country."

And, here is the same thing out of the mouth of a Brazilian on the 60 Minutes show about Brazil's being a rising star. Click to 9 minutes and you'll hear a Brazilian comment on what the cultural problem is there in Brazil, he says "Brazil is not a serious country" laughs "...because they will say they are going to do something and they won't do that something..." and "Here in Rio de Janeiro you can invite someone to your house and they say they are gonna come and and and they won't show up...they think, who cares?" And, "how can you do business in a loose way? How can you run a country in a loose way?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=co1cwVXhHQc

Racist my ass...

You can take that fucking accusation of racism and shove it up your fucking ass.

First of all, you don't know jack shit about Brazil. Brazilians are not "brown" like latinos, and most Brazilians are white European descent, so under your "theory" they'd be able to compete with Europeans just fine because they are the same racial descent. Blacks make up only 7.4% of the population.

Come back when you know something before you make your scurrilous allegations.

One of the best things about Brazil:

Our struggle is not against actual corrupt individuals, but against those in power in general, against their authority, against the global order and the ideological mystification which sustains it.
