Frozen Planet (new Attenborough series).
Anyone watching this new series, started last night?
If like me you forgot it's repeated on Sunday at 16:10.
It you're American there is a torrent so you can watch it now, as it should be, narrated by the master, before it reaches your shores next Spring narrated by Oprah Winfrey or some shite (although if they get Morgan Freeman that's fine also).

Beautiful, as one would expect.

Personally I always root for the predator. If prey didn't want to be eaten they shouldn't have evolved tastiness

The scene where one fleeing Muskox crashed into another being attacked by Wolves and effectively finished the job for them ...

Improved his chances for reproduction you mean?Animavore wrote:Sly bastard. He did that on purpose.

It was one hell of a hit. I've seen the damage that a humble cow can do the bodywork of a car, without any significant speed being involved. I winced when I saw that collision last night.

I just watched a scene shot in Yellowstone where a bison did the same thing. Very short hunt for a dozen wolves.klr wrote:The scene where one fleeing Muskox crashed into another being attacked by Wolves and effectively finished the job for them ...
