Rumour is he resigned earlier in the week but that he gave the letter to Oliver Letwin to give to Cameron.

News this morning. Looks like some shady goings on are being uncovered as one might have concluded given the naure of the original 'disclosures'. It would appear that Werrity's trips with Fox were funded by an up and coming arms dealer. Of course that might just be an innocent coincidence...
