You always know your days are numbered when the Prime Minister says '< fill in name> is doing a good job and has my full confidence'.

It's like the "dreaded vote of confidence" from the chairman of a football club. If the chairman is moved to give public their public backing to the manager, then things must be really bad.Rum wrote:Letwin? Though he is not strictly a member of the government. Gove - PLEASE! Richard Dawkins wrote in to the daily mail; it was published today.Exi5tentialist wrote:Cameron goes rummaging in bins? I sense a new scandalHomerJay wrote:Rumour is he resigned earlier in the week but that he gave the letter to Oliver Letwin to give to Cameron.
Excerpt: "What Mr. Fox does behind closeted doors is no ones affair, but why can he not keep the alien rubbish inside his pants out of the public eye? At the very least he could make use of Mr. Cameron's bin liner."

Exactly; the relationship could be totally platonic and it would still be appalling judgement.klr wrote:TBH, having a crony of yours without security clearance attend numerous meetings with you ... that's plenty enough cause by itself for getting the boot/falling on your sword IMHO. Good riddance.

Re: Time for Liam to come out of the closet?
News this morning. Looks like some shady goings on are being uncovered as one might have concluded given the naure of the original 'disclosures'. It would appear that Werrity's trips with Fox were funded by an up and coming arms dealer. Of course that might just be an innocent coincidence...
