Shaun the Sheep
Worth getting?

I've never seen it, but I love Wallace and Grommit.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

Re: Shaun the Sheep
It's aimed at young kids really, nowhere near as good as Wallace and Grommit.

Re: Shaun the Sheep
Is this Timmy Time character a blatant rip-off of Shaun the Sheep?Pappa wrote:Yes.Pappa wrote:Oh wait.... am I thinking of Timmy Time?Pappa wrote:It's aimed at young kids really, nowhere near as good as Wallace and Grommit.

Does that mean it's better? It's hard for me to imagine anything being better than Wallace and Grommit. I also love the Creature Comfort shorts, by the way.devogue wrote:It pisses on Wallace and Grommit.

My nephew loves that show! It teaches kids the value of sharing and cooperation.Pappa wrote:Oh wait.... am I thinking of Timmy Time?Pappa wrote:It's aimed at young kids really, nowhere near as good as Wallace and Grommit.![]()
...Maybe libertarians could benefit by watching it?

I have a daughter who rejects Gigglebiz, moans about Zingzilla's and craves Shaun, and people wonder why i'm SO proud!
I don't think it's as good as the films but it's shit tons better than most (not all) kid's tv.

It's for kids, Tatt. The stories are more child oriented and nowhere near as clever. I think maybe you would be disappointed.

Re: Shaun the Sheep
Ah. The reason I ask is because I was going to give it to my (adult) niece as a gift, and maybe get a copy for myself as well. But it's expensive and I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money, as I don't have a lot of it.stripes4 wrote:It's for kids, Tatt. The stories are more child oriented and nowhere near as clever. I would say not, IMHO. If I think of another suggestion I will let you know. Brain not working at the moment.tattuchu wrote:Ah.
