Shaun the Sheep

Worth getting?
http://www.amazon.com/Shaun-the-Sheep-S ... 88&sr=1-24

I've never seen it, but I love Wallace and Grommit.
People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.

But those letters are not silent.

They're just waiting their turn.

It's aimed at young kids really, nowhere near as good as Wallace and Grommit.

It pisses on Wallace and Grommit.

Is this Timmy Time character a blatant rip-off of Shaun the Sheep? :what:

Does that mean it's better? It's hard for me to imagine anything being better than Wallace and Grommit. I also love the Creature Comfort shorts, by the way.

I think it's a spin-off.

My nephew loves that show! It teaches kids the value of sharing and cooperation.

I have a daughter who rejects Gigglebiz, moans about Zingzilla's and craves Shaun, and people wonder why i'm SO proud!

I don't think it's as good as the films but it's shit tons better than most (not all) kid's tv.

It's for kids, Tatt. The stories are more child oriented and nowhere near as clever. I think maybe you would be disappointed.

Ah. The reason I ask is because I was going to give it to my (adult) niece as a gift, and maybe get a copy for myself as well. But it's expensive and I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money, as I don't have a lot of it.

I would say not, IMHO. If I think of another suggestion I will let you know. Brain not working at the moment.
