The only time I want to be called ma'am is if I'm wearing black leather and holding a whip.
If it happened that often, I'd soon get sick of it. :coffee:

You wear your stretch marks, grey hair and wrinkles with beauty and poise. In 10 more years, I can only hope to look as good as you. Not that I see any grey hairs or wrinkles. :ask:
You should get closer, then. :ask:

And thank you.

This thread has progressed very well. The idea of Kristie and Bella getting it on with each other makes me feel young indeed. :{D

When I hit my late 30s and the big 4-0 was approaching I noticed that my tolerance for bullshit had completely vanished, it was as if I was born with a BS tank and it had finally filled up. This is not good when you're surrounded by new-age types with their crystals, magic water and what-the-bleeps. The end result was I went on a bit of a mission to find the point of it all with two outcomes; 1. everyone thinks I'm an argumentative bastard and 2. I ended up here

The thing about a 'mid life crisis' is that it will all be ok if you are aware of it. If you don't see it coming... uh-oh.

MID-life?! It would be good still to be somewhere about the middle - knowing with certainty that (unless one went under a bus) there was the same amount to come. But if I lived to be 116, I'm sure I'd be insufferably wrinkled, cantankerous, forgetful, drunken and smelly. So I'm happy to accept I've had a lot more than half of it now.

I sat on the conveyor belt, unthinkingly, for lots of years. I hope I didn't harm too many people, and it would be lovely if I could allow myself the indulgence of thinking I may have helped some.

And as for crisis....well, as they say in footballing circles when they're just about to be sacked, what crisis?
Pray, do not mock me: I am a very foolish fond old man; And, to deal plainly, I fear I am not in my perfect mind.

Blah blah blah blah blah!

Memo to self: no Lir chocolates.

Life is glorious.

Good plan. When you get around to kids, he can be dad and grandpa at the same time. Then he has to go...away. A bit earlier than you.
