You'd have to change your shirt to something more reasonable, because fashion appears to be a factor, ay? And, you might need to work on the unibrow there.

Other than that, I can't really tell if you're good looking or not. I don't seem to be a good judge of male attractiveness. I have the, apparently incorrect, notion that I am as good looking as folks like Brad Pitt and Hugh Jackman, etc. I can't really tell why they are considered more attractive than me, but apparently, I'm not even close. Maybe the Ratz-chicks will have more commentary.

All humans have non-symmetrical features, even the beautiful ones.
And when was the last time you actually saw someone with webbed fingers or toes ?

I am amused by the fact that 5.5 million people thought that they were beautiful but weren't but also I wouldn't want to date a single member of that site or even the ones they rejected . The shallow vanity of anyone who would consider it makes me think I'd rather not know them .

So fess up if you think you are beautiful and you get to go on my ignore list .

I had a very pretty young girlfriend who worshipped Clark Gable, even though he was ancient then (or dead, I can't remember).
Women used to chase him wherever he went. She told me that one time, he got so fed up, he took his false teeth out, and waved them at the following pack, as he was getting on a plane.
They still carried on screaming at him.

He would't be allowed on that site though.

I have that same problem. Why is Brad Pitt more of a hunk than my friend, Mark? :dunno:

I didn't notice the unibrow 'til now. Odd thing about black and white. It covers blemishes like the capillaries in my cheeks but highlights fine hair like that between my eyebrows which don't show in colour.

Still, my point here was that with the right photography and angles I'm sure quite a few of us could get in.

Why do they call it Darwin Dating when there are a hell of a lot more of us ugly fuckers out here than beautiful ones?

What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

My post was just as accurate and just as flawed as the literary reference to which it referred. Read the opening of Anna Karenina. :tea:

I know it, because Jared Diamond quoted it in "Guns, Germs and Steel" (comparing readily domesticable animals with hard or impossible cases). :D

So that "Darwin Dating" would not have accepted Frida Kahlo. (there are, however, quite a few portraits of her when apparently she "corrected" her eyebrows)

There is such a thing as too beautiful, too handsome. I've seen it and it is icky.
Also, in my estimation, homely is as rare as too beautiful or too handsome.
And yet even the 'homely' find love and have children.

Cute gives a hell of a lot better mileage than beautiful. And cute isn't confined to the face, it is in the demeanor and personality, and manners and temperament. Cute stands the test of time. Cute can harbor inner beauty; cute is a person not a reflection.

I wonder how many people on the site actually use their own pictures.

spins blindly in the dark
so close to annihilation.
