And fair warning if Matt flips scum after yet another game like this he will become my day one Lynch for EVAH .I don't like playing town much and I have to force myself to post my thoughts and scum hunt for the sake of my team, so I think he can too ,his playing always looks scummy even when he is town and it's starting to annoy me .

DPs curse looks fake which makes him scum. Having said that he's posting in old threads which I guess zigmen wouldn't allow unless it was genuine. I know nothing at all about flavor except that I have a special edition of the colour of magic from the library with me that i haven't started yet. It's the first one. That's all i know.

Very true. On that note, what do people think of magic ziggy?

My general impression is that he has given mixed signals, some townish some more scummy. I'll try to reread MZ' contributions from previous game days in a while and look at specific things.

Some specific examples: early in day 2, we discussed the topic "why would a scum irre do X"? MZ made comments which I interpret as him rejecting the hypothetical premise that irre was scum, and that he had a town read on irre. Town points for that. Later, he announced he had a town read on ksen, which I find incomprehensible. Scum points. Later still, he says "Her absence worries me on a non mafia level. But in mafia terms I'm finding it scummy." and votes irre. Scum points for reversing his read. 11 min later, with no one posting in between, he changes vote to rc. Neutral/town points.

All in all, a quite mixed bag. What are your thoughts on MZ, Athene?

I get the sense that he's playing a very careful game and for that I don't trust him. You pointed out that he votes for irre because of her absence stating that in mafia terms he finds it scummy, irre is not the sort of player to bugger off and lurk because she lands a scum role. To me, this looks like an easy place to plonk a vote - on a player who isn't around.

I find it very suspicious that you are wearing earmuffs that don't let you hear, I find it really suspicious that you're not telling us where you got them from or when.

I WAS JUST THINKING THAT MY LAST POST HERE WASN'T ENTIRELY CLEAR, I GOT THESE EARMUFFS ON N1 BUT I DON'T KNOW WHO FROM. I WAS TOLD I COULD USE THEM OR PASS THEM ON. I DECIDED TO USE THEM IN CASE THEY WERE USEFUL. JOHNSON INVENTIONS ARE OFTEN MISLABELED. THE POTATO PEELER IN THE UU KITCHEN SAYS IMPROVED MANICURE DEVICE. WAS HOPING TO GET A VIEW OR A ONE SHOT KILL OR SOMETHING. BUT ALL I CAN HEAR ARE VOLCANOS AND EARTHQUAKES.

Ear -muffs that play the soothing sounds of an erupting volcano sounds in-key with us losing an inventor and the general flavour of this game . I believe that DP has been given an item that causes him to act like this but I don't know if that clears him of being scum ...AFAIK it shows the inventor gave him earmuffs.

I'm weighing switching to MZ. How do you think he compares to rc?

I'd be happy with either tbh, MZ already has votes on him so he's a better choice imv.

I'm suspicious of his quick switch to RC from Irre. He said he believed Athene was Town and was going with her read. I was being suspicious of RC in the posts just above that. It would have been safe assumption that I'd also vote against RC, making me look worse than him if/when RC flipped Town.

Plus, I don't think I've played nearly as many games with Irre (willing to be corrected about that, but it's my impression), and even I know there's no way she would just disappear like that as Scum.

I also think DP is bluffing, for the reasons I laid out earlier, but I think it's wiser to give him a chance to offer an explanation.
