@@vote irre@@

I just can't see scum irre running the win condition gambit, no matter how much I disagree with her about how to interpret the results.
hmm UT, that seems like a bad reason for a vote on him.

DP vs irre looks reminiscent of last game. I wouldn't mind knocking off dp just to get some clarity on that. Irre is looking town with her win condition gambit.

Gonzo voting shizzle. I must have missed shizzles post. Shizzle isn't worth bothering with. He should be viewed early. Any attempt to shake a claim out of him is scummy.

Back to work. Vote later. At the moment I'm favoring gonzo.
this is pretty much my line of thought too. dp. and gonzo for his vote on mattshizzle.

irre - i started to look for some games re the mayor votes.. but it was taking way too long

no actually I agreed with ob earlier on about him looking scummy, the drive by no post just made me put the vote down i'd been thinking of. also I just love it when people post after you call them for not posting then disappear again.

UT - I'm at work. I've tried to keep up. Questions about me will have to wait. My post was a crosspost with yours.

I am not saying it's impossible that she's scum, just that I don't think she would have made it an issue if she were. In my experience GMs usually give the scum a copy of the win condition, so she's only cleared if Zigmen does not.

I was scum in Zigmen's Timebomb mafia and looking back at my role PM and the scumboard for that game, it looks like he did not.

Why the apologetics for Shizz? Unhelpful play is supposed to be voted for. I feel like DP is being set-up.

Do you have an idea of who, if it's true that he is actually town?

Discworld Day 1

Post by Magicziggy » Mon Sep 19, 2011 6:01 am

Shizzle claims he folds when pressured. The only sensible way forward is to ignore and view. Unless we think he's a liability as a special as well. He seems to think it's about survival. And he doesn't have the nerve to keep quiet about any role he might have. Lynching him is a scum move.

Who hasn't posted yet? It's been at least 24 hours. How long till nightfall.

I don't think a GM would allow for 3 ppl to be cleared just by stating a weird win condition.

@ Mattshizzle - I've never really quite understood your game but what about DP's posts did you find scummy?

I don't think you can read much about a player just through one game, but what I observed of Gonzo while he was scum in the Stargate game was that he would go after a single player (divagreen in the stargate game). I don't see a similar gameplay in this game.

Yeah. I actually worried zigmen was doing some uber creative thing where he freestyles everyone's PM and I'd be lynched for being an idiot, but seems like there really is a weird win condition/game end going on. I'm surprised I'm the first one to bring it up.

The people not online now will avoid being trapped, but DP and amok.... explain, pls.
"weird win condition" fishing expedition? Not giving out any freebies today irre, but your follow up was close enough. ##unvote ##
Right.

##vote dp##
not amok?
UT - why did you ask this? Did you think that amok's stating that she didn't have the same wording in her PM, would cause irre to vote for her over dp?

I would like to point out that a few people have FOS'd me (you, irre, MZ) with no real substance and I'm afraid this is going to be another game where I get lynched Day 1 for trying to scumhunt. So if your FOSing me, please give some reasoning so I can at least defend myself for whatever is you think I did that is scummy. If you think I am scum, why not vote for me? Instead irre just says 'I would like to see [insert player] lynched' and then claims she's an expert on reading them. Her overconfidence gets the best of her as often as it turns up results. I think she's misleading us towards a townie lynch with DP. I also think asking about win conditions could have hurt the town, so provided that Zig could have gave the scum the town's win condition. So irre is still a wild card to me, and she usually is early in the game. That's why she is always made to be mayor.

Shizz should be lynched because he just dropped a vote on DP after irre rallied everyone against him. That's how scum push town wagons Day One, they act followy.

Linus is hard to read, period. He's very intelligent and that makes him dangerous to keep around. He is also acting followy towards irre.

I'm still unsure about him, but I don't think he did anything overtly suspicious. Actually he called out irre for a classic scumtell. The way you and Shizz joined his wagon was more suspicious then anything he's said.
