Yeah. I actually worried zigmen was doing some uber creative thing where he freestyles everyone's PM and I'd be lynched for being an idiot, but seems like there really is a weird win condition/game end going on. I'm surprised I'm the first one to bring it up.

The people not online now will avoid being trapped, but DP and amok.... explain, pls.

i found his post interesting as well.

i wasn't sure if he was asking if you were scum, because he thought you were. if that was the case, in that same post - he said that he had no pings from anyone yet.

So... UT - did you get a scummy feel from amok, which caused you to ask that?
honestly? game before last at ratskept a couple of people sent me the same sort of drivel. "oh you can trust me i never REALLY lie" It's just such bs coming off a mafia player and i'm sick of it. I though a blatant show of why it can't be true would snap a player of amok's quality out of it. Really had no bearing on this game, just a personal bugbear I took a swat at.

Do you have a read on Gonzo?
Yeah, he's not looking so good this game. The agreeing to vote a new player, then an afterthought to ask how many games that new player has played, seems very lacklustre.
New players are usually the hardest for me to read. I'm still interested in why Linus/ Mantis thought Barnett was a good choice, though, or why Barnett is asking if he can vote for himself.
When he votes a player for something anti-town (that no one else agrees with) it's his town tell.

You don't agree that it was anti-town for rc to give himself a pass on scumhunting?
It just seemed at the time that he'd be a decent view. There was really not much thought into the mayor vote

No one really stands out to me as probable scum. However, atm I have mostly town vibes from irre, ut, amok, feck, athene, oblivion. Choosing from the rest, I'll go with...

I call shenanigans on this, mantis. I mayor vote almost every game. So you are absolutely reaching. Which worries me.
no, i don't think you do. we can do research to see, i guarantee you that you have done this several times!

A revenge vote is the best you can do?
Maybe you were just fishing and feck was foolish enough to take your bait. Zigmen often mixes things up, you've played enough games to make that gamble.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.

I'll bite. What's weird about the win condition?
The game is going to happen to end, and town may happen to win. To me, this is weird. And yes I'm paraphrasing as I must do.
hm, i didn't get this... i think that wording might just be part of the flavour

It is interesting now that he votes Barnett for mayor but asks for Shizzle to be viewed. Any reason for the change of opinion Linus?
I have not changed opinion, not linking mayor votes and seer views has been a very consistent feature of my game.

The DP wagon just formed around irre's revenge vote.
Don't go near that elevator - that's just what they want us to do... trap us in a steel box and take us down to the basement.
