That's good to know.

While this may have seemed idea good idea at the time, the effect is that your name-calling caught out attention while other members' name calling did not.
Schneibster wrote:No, I wasn't subtle at all. You're assuming facts not in evidence, among early faults in your argument.
I didn't say you were subtle.. I used the words 'more obviously" and I prefaced my statement with "I think". I was submitting my thoughts for clarification.
OK.

Seth gamed the system to "get" me because it couldn't answer my questions. Seth is a fucking troll, and you all admit it.

Earlier I had asked a question Ronja got so hot and bothered about she jumped up and down asking for more time to answer it. I allowed more time, and when the time she specified had passed, I let it go without comment; she's busy, she says.

Next thing she does is ding me for an infraction that just happens to be the one that the person she's doing it in favor of just did to get her to do it to me.

Sorry, that looks like revenge to me, and this place is a toilet if shit goes on here like that.

My experiences do not tend to make me trust people when shit like that is going on. In fact, I can't see any reasonable person doing anything but what I did.

No, I'm notifying a troll (and everybody else watching) that they're being a troll.

That would be you.

It's not about me, and it's not about how anyone feels. It's about what Ronja has done, and about Tigger's and Seraph's and Xamonas' attitude about it.

ETA: and about Tigger's and Xamonas' and Ronja's attitude about the fact that I am asking a question about the rules that none of you have an answer for. I'm now, due to Ronja's actions, asking another scary question, and they're acting even more aggressive. It's pretty transparent. I don't think anyone needs to think about it long to identify the posts on this thread that make me have the opinions I do. I also don't think anyone's looked very hard at what Ronja did, because it's pretty fucking ugly.

One more thing: I'm assuming that you people care how you're seen after you do things. Maybe I'm wrong. If I am everyone will stop talking to me.

Asking inconvenient questions is not something that tends to make one a popular person.

Forum is pretty quiet for a couple of hours in the middle of the night(GMT), picks up again then as it comes into morning.
I wasn't commenting on whether I got an immediate answer or not. I was pointing out that if someone looks at that longer than 30 seconds, they're trying to figure out how to get around it instead of answering it.

The way things are going, Devogue will be losing his crown very soon.

Not that I'd know what he's been up to lately, seeing that I put him on ignore.

Merely trolling is not against our rules.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Devogue isn't a problem as far as I've seen. Certainly not any part of the problems I'm asking questions about here.

In the history of this forum we have permanently banned one person, your chances of being cut off are therefore quite slim. I won't say impossible, but you would have to work very hard to achieve it.
It took me a week to ask a question that a moderator saw fit to seek revenge for me asking. A bunch of other staff are now engaged in trying to get rid of me too.

Just sayin'.

You were reminded of the play nice rule when you implied that another mmber was a jackbooted thug

Also, we don't actually have a rule about gaming the system.

The only way I can see you'd know that is if you're clairvoyant. I have named names and yours is not among them. That's because you weren't involved.
