I did. You made posts beginning with lies; my policy is I don't read or respond past the first lie.
I didn't lie.
I'm quite sorry, but I am very much a creature of habit, and I assure you that you did and that I said how in at least five out of six cases, in the post where I did it. I always do. :dunno:

I know you have the habit of accusing me of lying in your little one-liners. Never any proof, for the reason that I haven't lied.

You proved me incorrect about one thing. You didn't personally attack me on the very first post you responded of mine on the other thread. I misstated that - you personally attacked me on the SECOND post you made, and you haven't stopped since. And, you'll need to look up the definition of the word "lie" and try to puzzle out why that's not a lie. I also acknowledged that I had forgotten about your one, inane, insipid little post.

Crewed space flight is too important a field of human endeavour to play party politics with. Is it not time once more to commit as one nation with one political voice to a new exploration programme for Nasa?

Don't let your builders of dreams drift without clear goals and a pledge of support for the decades needed to accomplish America's next big adventure. Empower them to accomplish it today. You won't regret it. Their talents and audacity echo around the Earth to inspire us all. The Nasa family is more valuable than you know. It will be the best dollars you ever spent and might be one of the most important acts of your presidency, not just for America, but for all mankind.

My own words were truthful.

And, you do realize that "First lie, every time," makes no sense?

I haven't lied, and you know it. The reason you won't ever back up your bullshit is because you can't.

Now, if you'd like to talk about the Space Program, let's have at it. You obviously have a different agenda.

:sigh:

Look, we'd have to dig back about fifty replies ago, to find the original lie so we could actually argue about it. I won't read any of your posts beyond the first lie I find, so you'd have to then try to re-make all the arguments again. It's not going to work out.

What I suggest is you drop it, stop posting propaganda, and/or deal on an ongoing basis without all the system-gaming.

What are you, fucking twelve?

That should be no trouble for someone of your evident intellectual prowess. Show me.

You feel free to drop it - you're the one who just got warned for baiting me and verging on harassment. I'd say it's your move to drop it.

I'd suggest you deal on an ongoing basis by sticking to the topic, stop trolling, stop derailing, and stop baiting me and stop verging on harassment. That would be good for starters. After that, I don't give a rat's ass what you do.

You're the one who made it fifty layers deep trying to work the system so you could trump something up and get me in trouble so you could shut me up, because you have no answers for me.

NASA Short Of Astronauts, Warns Report

Post by Schneibster » Thu Sep 08, 2011 5:36 am

NASA has a shortage of trained, medically available astronauts that is predicted to become acute due to required downtime after ISS visits to regain lost bone mass, says a new report from the National Research Council.

Read all about it.

I have no interest in wild goose chases. If one interests you, have at it. And, you got yourself in trouble by breaking the rules. I will say it again - if you are waiting for an answer from me, you'll have to link to or restate the question you think I have not answered. Most folks would be able to remember what they wanted an answer to. You shouldn't even have to search your own posts for your own questions that you know you posed but did not receive a response. I would be happy to answer it, if it's not another personal attack.

Now, back to the Space Program. On a positive note, it looks like the Mars "Curiosity" mission is still scheduled to launch in late November http://mars.jpl.nasa.gov/msl/
The Curiosity rover will be more than five times as massive, and carry more than ten times the mass of scientific instruments as the rovers Spirit or Opportunity.[13] The MSL Curiosity rover will be launched by an Atlas V 541 rocket and will be expected to operate for at least 1 Martian year (668 Martian sols/686 Earth days) as it explores with greater range than any previous Mars rover.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_Science_Laboratory
The MSL mission has four goals: To determine if life could have ever arisen on Mars, to characterize the climate of Mars, to characterize the geology of Mars, and to prepare for human exploration. To contribute to the four science goals, Mars Science Laboratory has eight scientific objectives:[15][16]
Determine the nature and inventory of organic carbon compounds. If no organic compounds are found, that is useful information, as evidence about life on Mars may not be near the surface. It would also aid understanding of the environmental conditions that remove organics.[17]
Inventory the chemical building blocks of life as we know it: carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur.
Identify features that may represent the effects of metabolism or biosignatures.
Investigate the chemical, isotopic, and mineralogical composition of the Martian surface and near-surface geological materials.
Interpret the processes that have formed and modified rocks and soils.
Assess long-timescale (i.e., 4-billion-year) Martian atmospheric evolution processes.
Determine present state, distribution, and cycling of water and carbon dioxide.
Characterize the broad spectrum of surface radiation, including galactic radiation, cosmic radiation, solar proton events and secondary neutrons.
Good show, NASA!

It's on an Atlas V rocket, so I may head over to the Cape and see the launch.
