Pakistan Detains Al Qaeda "Foreign Minister"

Post by Schneibster » Tue Sep 06, 2011 4:58 am

Al Qaeda appears to be on the ropes; I think this is due to the foreign aid money to Pakistan getting cut down by a billion simoleons last month. The Pakistanis whined and moaned and complained about how it was going to poison the relationship, but I think a message got sent, in a language some people over there understand, and some of the fuckers in the ISI who were feeding al Qaeda to fuck with us got cut off at the knees, when the generals got pissed off because the money disappeared.

I bet Pakistan's going to be a real good neighbor to Afghanistan going forward, and is going to toe the line and hand over all the bastards that have been hiding in the tribal areas. Obama got this one right. Pakistan has been fucking with us possibly since before 9/11, and some of those assholes in the ISI may well be partly responsible for the attack.

Read all about it. That's a Pakistani paper, so be sure you have a look at the AP article on Google news, too; the Pakistani papers are under censorship by the Pakistani government, so there may be significant details that are not available in them.

In what area? Pakistan? You mean the Pakistan that has pretty much all of al Qaeda hiding in it and has only been interested in bothering to do anything when a billion dollars was taken off the table because they weren't?

OK. Far as I'm concerned it worked and you're scared. Which is why you're posting on this thread.

Yep, you don't know the history, or you only know the Americanized version.

Here's some history: Osama bin Laden was captured next door to the main training college for the officers of the Pakistani Army.

I know that history by heart.

I know that history by heart.
And the American murderers violated Pakistani sovereignty and shot an unarmed man kneeling down at point blank range multiple times.

Let's see if you know who helped create Al Qaeda and put Osama bin Laden in power. I'm betting you will be in denial. It's always the American M.O. to think they are innocent.

You're changing the subject again.

This thread is about the US having to take a billion dollars in foreign aid off the table to get Pakistan to start actually fighting al Qaeda, instead of lying about it.

You just don't get it about why the people in the area hate Americans so much. You have no perspective.

You're changing the subject again.

This thread is not about my perspective. It's about the fact that the US had to take a billion dollars off the table to get Pakistan to start actually fighting al Qaeda, instead of lying about it.

If you don't have perspective, you won't get why Pakistan doesn't like helping the US.

I don't like giving Pakistan a billion dollars. I guess we're even.

But do you get why the US might want to cease helping Pakistan so much in return for them not helping the US?
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Yeah, the US doesn't have any money, it's broke.

Schneibster, you should engage Gawd only from the viewpoint of personal amusement. Just a suggestion, of course.
