Re: Stargate SG1 Mafia - Day 4
I believe Bilirubin is Scum. I've drifted here for the past few hours because I assumed I was dead meat, and didn't want to muddy the waters too much.
But I tried to kill Bilirubin on Night 2, and didn't succeed. Bililrubin was protected, either by Town or Scum.
Can we go from there? There must be something to go on from that.

It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

No not really Amok Bili could be the Doc ,or he could have just been protected by the doc . I doesn't say much about his alignment IMHO

Re: Stargate SG1 Mafia - Day 4
It seems we need to run over my schedule. I am a music teacher. I have students M-F from 3-9pm. They mostly attend, unless they are sick or on vacation.
To get to work on time, I generally shower at 2pm and leave at 2:30pm.
Today, my 3pm kid was on vacation, so I got to change my times a bit. I showered at 1:45pm, as usual, paid bills, has a brief meeting over the phone with a prospective student, and left at 3:15 so I could hit the bank.
Now, TR Mafia opened at noon, which is good for me. I got to play for a while.
Ratz Mafia opened at 2pm, just as I got out of the shower.
After my phone call, a bit more play at TR, etc, I popped in here at 3:09pm (6 minutes before I had to leave) and announced I'd catch up later.
Now, none of this is really anyone's fucking business, but I can't help in the game starts just as I'm getting ready to leave for work. Also, when I announce that I'm off to work, what's the point of bringing up that i played TR for a good couple of hours? And why bother saying you wished I'd check in?
Now, I'll stay up til 1:30 am or so before sleep.
Tomorrow, I'll get up around 9:00 to pee. I may check in.
Then. I'll go straight back to bed til around 11am, when I'll actually get up.
After breakfast, I'll be playing Mafia from noon-2 pm.
Then, the cycle will repeat itself again.
Any of you who play the timeline meta should print this post and hang it on your fucking wall, cuz my schedule never changes, and I don't play at work unless i get a cancellation.
So, let's recap:
Noon-2pm is good mafia time.
2pm-11pm I'm Not around.
11pm-1:30am is good mafia time.
I'll post my thoughts about the game in another post, so you won't need to edit it too much to print it out and hang it on your wall.

Amok, it is posts like this that makes me want to final vote you.amok wrote:That's what I was talking about!r.c wrote:amok has agreed to go protown. We can force scum to use their Nk on amok instead. I don't see the point in lynching amok today.
RC, there must be two other Scum (other than me, I mean). What are your thoughts? You voted Zigmen, but what about the other one? Discussion this day can be make or break for Town. Keep going, if you have time.
You did this shit yesterday with your "town is in trouble" crap and I wasn't buying it then. This whole "make or break town" does not make you look more town it makes you look downright scummy in my opinion, almost as if you were on the same scum team with Gonzo.
There are 12 players left, we are down 2 scum so there are probably 2scum left and you are an outed SK. Why are you trying to erode town's confidence if you are town with posts like this?

Re: Stargate SG1 Mafia - Day 4
1) A Town aligned SK is a fucking gift. Who's leading this mob to take out Amok? Athene? FoS this.We pick the NKs, Amok makes the kills, and if she strays, we lynch her. Let Scum worry about taking her out if they feel threatened.
2) Bili. You already know what I'm going to say. You're Scum. Wily, Wifomy, and a distraction who has yet to advance Town's cause. You need to go.
3) Charlou subbing for Aza? This is my other top pick for Scum.
My trust factor is wearing thin, tonight, and i might just go rogue, cuz nobody is making much sense.
If there is to be an alliance, IMHO, it should be based on getting the BW on Amok dissolved.
Amok, I assume you'll kill who we choose? I assume you'll expect to be lynched the moment you fail in your commitment? I assume you understand that if the game does not end after we kill the amount of Scum we rationally believe to be in the game, that you will need to go?
If you object to any of these terms, please say so now so we can hash out an acceptable agreement.

Re: Stargate SG1 Mafia - Day 4
Sure, I understand that and accept that I could be wrong. But I'm reading and reading and reading, and can't find Bili being pro-Town.Feck wrote:No not really Amok Bili could be the Doc ,or he could have just been protected by the doc . I doesn't say much about his alignment IMHO
Day 1, I consider a write-off (as usual).
Day 2, odd postings about "pattern matching...:
... and "early game signal... woo, woo, woo!...Yes. I made that judgment based on his pattern of voting.
Quite agree with the many folks who try to pattern match. I think that pattern matching is an advanced technique that many players aren't terribly good at because it takes a particular person to be effective, and its not easily taught. Folks should focus on objective scum tells until their games get solid.
While at the same time posting prolifically about (Town Mattshizzle)'s Scum tells...You are missing my point, and seem to miss that some can read signal in the noise of early game.
Following an uncommented upon vote with another uncommented vote early in the day--but of course, he voted for you yesterday so he must be scum right? Hey, how did that work out for you in your last TR game when you were sure raven and I were scum for voting for you? 0 for 2 weren't you?
And with the cherry on top, hedging..., said to Matt:Reverse cheerleading.
These tells even have names Matt.
Combined with his vote on (Town) DP, who wasn't going to get lynched by any reasonable measure, instead of Matt, and combined with (Scum) Gonzo's White Nighting...Add to these your "day one vote on me is a scum tell" trope, and your restating something oblivion said in the OP as if it were some insight, and the nonsense about "random voting" and you make yourself an easy lynch. If you do get lynched and turn out a town special, I'm not going to give a shit. Fix your game.
Good grief. If you're Town, Bilirubin, fix your game.I do not like the bilirubin wagon at all. I don't see much logic in the votes put to him. We played together at TR and this reminds me of his town game. I haven't seen him as scum, yet, so I don't know his range as a player, but in this game he seems similar to how he played in Game of Thrones.
On that note, vote diva. The theatrical flailing isn't fooling me. It comes off very much like an act. Why self-vote and then unvote again?
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

Posts like this do not build my confidence in you, Ksen. It reminds of when you tried to lynch vote a dead player in the GoT game.ksen wrote:??higgs2 wrote:amok needs to learn the luis garcia rule of sk's.

I don't get this. Find the Scum. @ Zig, Nobody is making sense ???? WTF did you read my post about not lynching Amok or just choose to ignore it ?
this is just a feeling BTW but Bili is starting to remind me of Gonzo in that game where he lead town and turned out to be scum ?

No, I don't, as you don't have an accredited NK. Unless of your course you are scum. If you are the SK with an unusual win condition, all we have is your word to go by which is shit at this point until you cardflip.amok wrote:I don't get this. Find the Scum. Anyone want to post a current vote count so I can see who's where?
Thanks.

Diva, if we choose a kill for Amok to make and it materializes, would you then accept that she's an SK?
This seems easily testable/

Re: Stargate SG1 Mafia - Day 4
The numbers are on Town's side. Twelve left (minus SK Amok) and (probably 2 Scum). Lynch Amok today, leaves eight Town, and two Scum. Scum will kill one town overnight, but that still leaves seven Town and two Scum. Just use this day and tomorrow to follow the dots, and Town will win.

I am not even convinced that she is a SK, tbh.
I was on a scum team with her @ RatSkep (Cookie's game) and she was pretty hot to trot with bloodlust.
I am not buying her whole, "I with held my NKs for town's sake" until I get a more involved response from her that doesn't involve putting down town.
