Spurs have done better than I expected this week, managing to orchestrate riots so that their preparation can continue. Arsenal and chelski firing blanks. All is well.

This week because they have relaunched monday night footie over there.
The Pope was today knocked down at the start of Christmas mass by a woman who hopped over the barriers. The woman was said to be, "Mentally unstable."Trolldor wrote:Ahh cardinal Pell. He's like a monkey after a lobotomy and three lines of cocaine.
Which is probably why she went unnoticed among a crowd of Christians.

Why the fuck am I in last place? My team is the best?

Let us think the unthinkable, let us do the undoable, let us prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all.

I'm last due to nil points.normal wrote:Why the fuck am I in last place? My team is the best?
I would have got 36 though, so maybe your team is the worst thing ever?

Damn, stupid team!

I received an email from the Fantasy Premier League technical team today. It was about the problems that you (and I guess thousands of other people) had getting their teams set up and finalized on Friday and Saturday.HomerJay wrote:I'm last due to nil points.normal wrote:Why the fuck am I in last place? Just so everyone is aware, we will all get the opportunity to have unlimited free transfers before the start of the Week 2 games. Usually, we'd get only 1 free transfer per week. So everyone can retune their lineups if they wish.
I will also have the option to make the start of OUR SEASON be week 2 instead of week 1. Basically, for cumulative purposes, we'd throw out week one and start at zero for week two. This would let HomerJay (and anyone else who still wants to join our league this week) start the season on an even playing field. On the other hand, everyone else's hard-won points from week 1 won't count.
Personally, I'm fine with making week 2 our start of season. But, I won't do that unless everyone agrees.
Let me know what you think, and if you have any questions!

I would be fine with that. My points were hardly hard earned.
