"Little", in an over-use kind'a way. I still remember my grandmother prefacing fucking near everything with "little", all the time, for fucking years. /GrandmaRant off

"pro-active" - when the speaker's / writer's (or their political party's or organization's) history shows very clearly that they couldn't tell PRO-active from REactive even to save their own sorry skin.
"The internet is made of people. People matter. This includes you. Stop trying to sell everything about yourself to everyone. Don’t just hammer away and repeat and talk at people—talk TO people. It’s organic. Make stuff for the internet that matters to you, even if it seems stupid. Do it because it’s good and feels important. Put up more cat pictures. Make more songs. Show your doodles. Give things away and take things that are free." -

Can you give an example?
Rum, "iconic" doesn't bother me much, as it's not overused here (I don't think). What really gets on my tits is the word "cliche." It's used too much. And people always use it wrong (at least to my ear). They'll say, "That's very cliche." When the fuck did this start? I've only heard the word used like this fairly recently. To me, you either say "that's a cliche" or "that's cliched." Not
that's cliche.

People think "queue" is just "q" followed by 4 silent letters.
But those letters are not silent.
They're just waiting their turn.

"I keep trying to think but nothing happens." -- Curly
I can't offhand think of a word which, if used well, is not welcome. Even "irregardless" has its own homespun charm.

Inspired by the Dilbert cartoon-- paradigm.
As in "It's a whole new paradigm."
What a bullshit word.

Oh, and "pitchy," as used on American Idol.
"The middle section there, you were a bit pitchy."
If you don't know enough to tell if someone is singing flat or sharp, maybe you shouldn't be critiquing a musical performance.

Not so much the actual word it self but more so those to
whom it is acknowledged or attributed. And that word is genius
Now just because you admire some one does not automatically make
them one. But it is over used in my opinion and does need serious curtailing
This lot are geniuses and theirs is the standard by which it should be referenced

I love the measured asymmetry of your posts 57

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.
