In a year, there will simply be be $14 trillion dollars of US debt and then you need to borrow even more money to pay back the interest and to finance what ever excesses that Americans expect. It already has to pay close to $300 billion just in interest each year!!! This is in addition to the yearly deficits that are the norm in America. And this debt totally will likely be even higher given the war the US will start with somebody in the next year. The US is finished, it has no way of getting out of the hole it dug.

No, but we're the root of technology of the world, and that's more important than ever. We're also the largest consumer market, so cutting off China would bankrupt them almost immediately. Just look what happened to the world economy when our housing/mortgage market collapsed.
