The problem is, there are too many "single issue" parties to fit them all in a poll.
I don't think "Green" politics can be considered single issue any more.

Maybe I am not remember my PolSci classes that well but my understanding that "old Liberalism" was Classic Liberalism which is more along the lines of libertarianism from what I understand.
I can live with doubt, and uncertainty, and not knowing. I think it's much more interesting to live not knowing than to have answers which might be wrong. no paleoconservative choice makes me cry :console:

:{D I just saw the Liberal Fascist choice. That should be pretty popular around here.

If he has, he hasn't posted the results. Not that it matters. The political compass questions are just not geared to explore his mindset. Seth is so far to the right of the spectrum (tax is theft, kill all communists, Obama is a crypto-communist, etc) that the quiz's questions simply fail to reach and explore the extremes of political and social absurdities.

Plus we have to answer the questions honestly to get a real result, and, as this is just the Internet, that's not always going to happen.

Can I just say how pleasantly surprised I was to see that you distinguished between the various forms of communism/socialism. Are you getting soft in your old age Seth?

I see I managed to troll you back. Welcome! Nah, anything above number 12 is collectivism, so they are all pretty much the same in the end.

Actually, as I recall, I end up on the liberal side of Libertarian, mostly because I believe in individual rights and liberty and that government ought to butt out and leave people alone unless they are stealing from or harming others.

Oh, and by the way, you shouldn't lie about my position on taxation. Not all taxation is theft, just some of it...the redistributionist type of taxation that takes my money without my permission and gives it to other people whom I've never met and have no financial responsibility for in order to help them meet their social and economic needs.

I have no problem paying my way through life and paying taxes for my personal fair share of the costs of government and the infrastructure of society, and I expect everyone else to do the same, and not burden me with their bad decision making or bad luck.

I just object to being taxed to support people who will not support themselves. If they physically cannot support themselves, why then they can ASK ME for assistance and if I have disposable income to spare, I may choose to do so out of a sense of altruism, charity and enlightened self-interest.

However, for the indolent dependent class to come to my door with a gun (by proxy) and DEMAND my money for their support is nothing more than armed robbery, which I resist. If they do it in person, I'll just shoot them dead on my doorstep, which is all they deserve.

When they do it by proxy, using the jackbooted thugs with machine guns of the government, it's quite a bit more difficult to evade paying for the indolent dependent class. So far, however, I've managed it pretty well.

So, I'll continue to pay my way for what I ACTUALLY consume by way of government services and the dependent class can go hang.

And I'm going to ignore the personal attack too, in the interests of making my position clear.

"Psychopath" is not a political persuasion, it's a mental illness, but thanks for warning us.
