Re: Political persuasion poll
Apolitical.
I used to subscribe heavily to left-wing ideologies and later anarchism. However, having met other people who shared my views, debated with those who didn't, having read mountains of political literature and of course the actions of corrupt individuals who get intoxicated on power at everybody's expense I've decided to abandon all political beliefs.
ALL politics, like religious power of old, is a new mass movement which has the power to brainwash and destroy rational thought, leading to the identical legacy that religion has left us with.
There are more important things to do with your life than delude yourself into thinking your actions and thoughts matter to a system which wants nothing to do with you and which you can't influence.
You don't matter.

The world is a thing of utter inordinate complexity and richness and strangeness that is absolutely awesome. I mean the idea that such complexity can arise not only out of such simplicity, but probably absolutely out of nothing, is the most fabulous extraordinary idea. And once you get some kind of inkling of how that might have happened, it's just wonderful. And . . . the opportunity to spend 70 or 80 years of your life in such a universe is time well spent as far as I am concerned.
