I wouldn't if he made no action. If I had actually blocked an action then yes, I would expect some confirmation.oblivion wrote:why would you expect a confirmation?

Example: In MMPR Gonzo sent "You successfully protect JEROME" when I was protecting him (which i only did because he was confirmed red ranger...in my own defense)Contrapposto wrote:I wouldn't if he made no action. really? I've never gotten confirmation that my block worked outside of something obviously missing in the next day's op - like a kill or a silence or something.Contrapposto wrote:I wouldn't if he made no action. interesting.

that was my takeAnimavore wrote:It said he was to be the ICA's secret back-up. I guess it means he could've been secret to them.oblivion wrote:does the cardflip wording make it sound like aza was known to scum?
Re: Hitman: Blood Money Mafia - A Dance With The Devil (Part
and that interpretaion implies to me that Agent 47 is in contact with scum or knows who are scum. We've seen only one kill each night. either scum don't have a kill or Agent 47 is the scumkiller, and that implies at least knowledge of who not to hit.gib wrote:that was my takeAnimavore wrote:It said he was to be the ICA's secret back-up. one of the major variants on the traitor role is they know who are scum, but scum don't know who they are.

You of all people, Ob, should know things are done quite differently there at FF and especially by Gonzo.
You told me plenty about it while i was GMing GitS.

^^^This only reinforces my thoughts that you are taking advantage of my assumptions about game mechanics and others ignorance regarding what I am accustomed to on another board.

yeah, I do realize that. but the blocker getting any kind of block results just seems really out there. it turns the role into an investigative one, especially if the roleblocker is on the scum team.Contrapposto wrote:Have you ever player a block or protective rile with Gonzo GMimg at FF for that matter?oblivion wrote:really? thinking on this...I played Gonzo's first and afaik only FF game. I don't remember you being a blocker in that game, Contra. So, I'm curious where your expectations about getting block info derived from.oblivion wrote:yeah, I do realize that. but the blocker getting any kind of block results just seems really out there. it turns the role into an investigative one, especially if the roleblocker is on the scum team.Contrapposto wrote:Have you ever player a block or protective rile with Gonzo GMimg at FF for that matter?oblivion wrote:really?
