Oh, sorry. Missed the purple bit. You mean he used "cops" as a "for example." I agree, but that doesn't help me understand what's going on.oblivion wrote:I'm talking about the part that gib made purple. ... possibly be open to any sort of interpretation? It's a game of stealth. Nothing fancy. Agent 47 will be aligned with the scum team, it will be his job to evade detection and undergo different disguises - the catch being that there is a limited number to each disguise he can wear so when, say, all four cops turn up dead - the town will want to find the last standing cop and lynch him before 47 can switch into another disguise. Each time a dead body is found without it's uniform - the town will be directed to find a person who meets that description. There might be another catch or two, but that's the basic scheme of things.
There seems no doubt Agent 47 is Scum, right? Feck was Franchise and must have been Town, or he wouldn't have been killed. But does that mean ALL Franchise are Town? Or all ICA (Agent 47 & Diana) are Scum?
It may be true that the law cannot make a man love me, but it can keep him from lynching me, and I think that's pretty important.

Although today's voting could turn out to be all about oblivion, today's discussion should include previously quiet/skating players assessing all other players.

Hitman: Blood Money Mafia - A Dance With The Devil (Part 2)
Caught up. I'm less confused now I understand alignment can mean different things for town. I thought charlou was scum because her alignment was different than mine. Now I've seen three different alignments Inc mine. However I can see knowledge of flavor is going to assist in this game.
Its pretty hard to proceed if we can't agree whether charlou was scum or not. It makes her bw meaningless at this point.

my initial thoughts were that the 3 named players were the scum team, along with an agent 47 who may or may not be an actual part of the scum team, but who is aligned with scum.amok wrote:Oh, sorry. Feck's death knocks that loose. If one of the targets is on the scum team, then agent 47 isn't all that well aligned with them. He's a danger to them. Which would mean that what we've been given regarding the game set-up is misleading. I'm not ruling that out, but it's not something I'd do as a gm. my up front info usually isn't complete, but it is correct as far as it goes.

nope, aza hasn't posted yet. I'm in agreement with gib here. If 47 needs to blend with an existing group they will claim guest and pick off the others if people start outing. The only person I trust at the moment though is shizzle. He claimed waiter yesterday, with feck gone there is one left. In the absence of a counterclaim that clears him for me.

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

A quick look at wikipedia puts charlou pretty solidly as scum for me
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitman_%28series%29Diana Burnwood: 47's handler at the Agency. Diana briefs 47 on his assignments, oversees his progress, and serves as his guide over the radio. For the vast majority of the series, 47 never sees Diana, recognizing her only by voice, however, they do come face-to-face at the conclusion of Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Contracts. Diana has an upper-class English accent and a business-like demeanor. Although Diana usually handles 47's affairs from afar, she turns out to be a major character in Hitman: Blood Money; serving as a double agent, faking 47's death, saving the Agency from liquidation, and dodging death herself a few times.[13] In the end, her efforts pay off when the Agency is brought back online, although it is left unmentioned if Diana has been promoted to a higher position.[14] Diana is voiced by Vivienne McKee. In the Hitman film, Diana's only form of contact with 47 is through a synthesized voice via laptop. However, she does directly call 47 by phone in order to warn him that the Organization has targeted him.

I think chances are excellent that you're a waiter in the sense that you've helped yourself to some alcohol. Now answer the question.gib wrote:what do you think the chances are that i'm a waiterLinus wrote:Saying you're a waiter would clearly help town since Shizzle claimed waiter and Feck is a confirmed waiter.
