You haven't got it yet. The total population of Norway is less than five million. So numbers that are insignificant to much bigger countries, are highly significant in Norway.

And travelling halfway round the world can be done in a few hours.
If the people coming were highly qualified doctors, dentists, lawyers or IT experts, it would be quite a good thing. But most of them have no skills at all, and don't even speak the language. They just depress the wages of the poorest people in society, making it not worth getting a job, for the unskilled.

They don't even have to be a different colour. Just look at Northern Ireland. You should be able to understand the damage that immigration did to a small country. And the damage hasn't stopped yet, even though they are the same colour.

Even for a country of 5 million those numbers are tiny and 'natives' don't tend to do poor paying jobs they sign on the dole while immigrants do them. Thats an attitude problem not an immigrant one

Not true. The numbers are very significant percentages, you obviously didn't read them.

And it's not an attitude problem, its a money problem. Immigrants depress the unskilled wage levels to a point where the unskilled can't afford to get off benefits.
People who would normally work see no point, because the levels of pay are so low.
And kids starting out are demoralised before they even start work.

The employers would have to pay a lot more for unskilled workers, if there weren't such an influx of unskilled immigrants. That is a fact. It's supply and demand, it only takes a slight supply surplus, to drastically affect the price of labour.

Fixed that for you. A dysfunctional benefits system is one of the things that concerns me greatly, but I don't feel the need to go out and cause mayhem over it, let alone see how it might actually advance the issue.

Your "fix" is either ignorant of the facts, or pretty stupid.
I started looking for work in the UK in the late sixties, and it never took more than a day, and the money made it well worth working. You could live well on unskilled wages, and the employers were very keen to have you.

It's totally different for those starting work today. The money is absolutely ridiculous, when you look at the prices of the basics, and people who REALLY DO want work, even semi-skilled, just can't find jobs. And it's all down to unskilled immigration.
It's great for the rich, and the retired people, but not for the young and the poor.

The unskilled simply cannot compete with pakistanis and iraquis. And they shouldn't have to.

And now in the modern age there is relatively little need for people with no or low skills , thats just a fact of life. Basically if you don't have a degree ,are capable of wearing a suit and sitting in an office you are unlikely to have much prospects.

We need a few mechanics , a few plumbers , factory workers etc but not many. We do have a certain % of the population that are too low skilled (and probably untrainable) that is incapable of ever working. You can't teach an adult to sit still , not to swear regularly or raise their voice thats something you learn as a small kid.

The price to to them starving/rioting is the dole and its a price worth paying

This would really require a whole separate thread to debunk, and I have no intention of doing that here. By all means start a thread about it if you want.

But you seemed to miss my point, which is that no matter how one twists around or perceives an issue, it's never going to be worth fighting about. Let alone killing for.

Many European countries are being swamped with immigrants. It is much too fast, and too far. And what really enrages people, is that they have never been asked about this.

Surely a social and racial experiment like this should be put to a referendum, not slipped in gradually and quietly under the counter? If the people have voted for it, then that's fair enough. You give way to the majority. But being lied to, and conned, and called names if you complain, is bound to make people crack in the end.

This guy really thought he was starting something. He is mental, but if it all keeps going on, it might come true.

Nobody can blame the immigrants for wanting to come, and integration should be encouraged all of the time, but I say that the unrestrained immigration should stop now, if we don't want to see more of the same.
This is like blaming the rape victim for the rape. Norway wore too short a skirt, you say?

You are incredibly divorced from reality.
I have a nephew and niece looking for work. They both have degrees, and one is a barmaid, the other is listening for leaks in water mains. For rubbish money.

Before all the immigration, they would have been snapped up.
And your imagined world where everybody is doing jobs that they got through degrees is just pure fantasy.
I have another niece who is qualified as a lawyer, she's retraining as a teacher.

It's a different world when the employees are in demand. And a much better world

How much do you know about Norwegian immigration policies? Like I just pointed out in the Norway blast thread, we have the highest rate of employment among our immigrations in all of the OECD countries. I'm sure we could do better, but to say that we're being so reckless politically that we're not really entitled to being "surprised" when we get targetted by a killer over it.

Does the same go for McVeigh and the Unabomber, and by extention the US? What do you say to those who say the same about 9/11? "Why the surprise?"
