TA, aren't MrJonno and mistermack hiding behind their generalizations to post things that would be considered personal attacks if they were being addressed to an individual?
In fact I believe some of their remarks are being addressed to individuals. Yes?
Guilty to hiding behind generalisation as I can't call one individual a completely psychopath and if that is against forum rules I will cease if not I will carry on (I'm all for law and order)

Humans are perfectly natural beings with perfectly natural behavior. Emasculate a human, and you get one who passively accepts his death sentence. I don't deny you that option; I just don't choose it for myself or the loved ones I can physically protect.
As for emasculating ,politically correct want to throw in cultural marxism as well and all sounds frightening familiar

How many of you does it take to change a lightbulb? Seriously! You've never looked into the toilet tank to see what the problem might be? You've never looked under the hood of an automobile and maybe checked the fluids now and then? Can you change a flat tire?MrJonno wrote:Intelligent people never do anything alone that can be done together or by getting someone who does it professionally for a living to do it.Cowards get other people to do their dirty work for them. Whether its negotiating a payrise (use a union) or shooting dead bad guys (get a gun trained policeman). It's why the loner in the end will never acheive anything as he will always be massively outnumbered by people who will work together to achieve their aims
Car doesnt work hire a mechanic, toilet doesnt work hire a plumber, neighbour might have a firearm get the police to arrest/shoot them.
What I've found with a few discussions I've had lately is this self-satisfaction that people express with their proffessed open mindedness. In realty it ammounts to wilful ignorance and intellectual cowardice as they are choosing to not form any sort of opinion on a particular topic. Basically "I don't know and I'm not going to look at any evidence because I'm quite happy on this fence."

Anders Behring Breivik was a loner (probably still is).MrJonno wrote:Intelligent people never do anything alone that can be done together or by getting someone who does it professionally for a living to do it.Cowards get other people to do their dirty work for them. Thank goodness none of those window hitters and expletive shouters had guns. That kind of maniacal impulsivity would be deadly.Reporters and locals thronged the courthouse on Monday ahead of the hearing for their first glimpse of Breivik since the assault. When one car drove through the crowd, people hit its windows and one person shouted an expletive, believing Breivik was inside.

Question: Do mechanics and plumbers work alone or in support groups?MrJonno wrote:Intelligent people never do anything alone that can be done together or by getting someone who does it professionally for a living to do it.Cowards get other people to do their dirty work for them. If you call for a plumber and he shows up at your door alone--don't let him in!
Who knows what he might have in his bag.

I can do a lightbulb but not a light fitting (doing much more with electrical wiring without training could well be illegal in the UK). No to all the others never driven a car since passing my driving test far prefer to get a bus/train and read a book. How many of you does it take to change a lightbulb? Seriously! You pay for the AA (AAA? in the US) so you don't have to do such things.
Far better to specialise in your narrow area earn enough to pay for people who specialise in theirs ( if I end up on a desert island I'm well aware I'm screwed) but as I don't like going anywhere further than 200 m from a bus stop that seems a little unlikely

Are intelligent people capable of going to the bathroom alone and wiping their own asses?
I know women go to the bathroom in groups. That is probably because they are more intelligent than men.
