The details of the technique are different, sure. For example, it's much easier to kill someone who is dodging and struggling with a knife, as you risk the gun being taken away if you get too close. And of course to maximize effectiveness, as in Whittman's case, one would do physical training rather than sharpshooter training. Ultimately it doesn't matter to the people who die in these mass murders, though.
It does matter in containing such slaughter, however. I'm a gun collector and a shooter for forty-six years now and most of the people I know who have guns shouldn't have been allowed to buy them, they're stupid, ignorant and lazy people who will wind up shooting themselves or family member like as not. It's already happened a couple of times to my knowledge.
There are 200 million people out there who haven't who debunk your specious claim. Just because you hang out with stupid, ignorant and lazy people who misuse their firearms does not mean that the rest of the gun-owning public is similar to your chosen acquaintances.
I'd suggest finding a new group of acquaintances.
And I'm guessing you know people who feel the same way about you.

Exactly.
Your imagination is being tainted by your loathing.
That is purely personal and not rational.

If true, that would point to a defect in your imagination more than anything else.

Nope, just observational. I could care less about Seeth as a person one way or the other.

We talk about problems to solve them. We talk about grief and shock and outrage to relieve ourselves of them.
There would be no discussion at all and no searching, nor discovery of solutions if everybody just felt the same about everything.
No one is totally right nor totally wrong.
I didn't force that persona on Seth, he created it. He can live with it.

Why? Utter bastard takes a lot of work, so it's no accidental persona.

Or that you've decide that how you want people to see you. For evidence of that I have irrefutable proof:

The person behind the facade is not the point, it's the face that drools on this forum that matters.

Come by some time. (I'd need a week or so warning, the loan process is a bit complicated.)
