Still unless you bury it under a few layers of Wifom it does tend to make him look townish

Re: Tea Party vs Zombie Day 2
I'm plain town, no thief. I don't think my first post this game day was trying to be jumpy, so much as eye-rolling that I had fingers pointed at me for voting Ksen when he wasn't considered scum, then had them pointed at me when he was confirmed.b.ternarius wrote:I'm wondering if def is the thief; might explain how jumpy he gets when fos'd.
That would leave mz or vofw for final scum.
The notion that Ksen sent me to vote for him early is silly too. At that point in the day, a few players stated that Ksen's post wasn't proof of anything, and people weren't leaning to convict him. In that case, if I were scum, I would have echoed that notion and placed a vote elsewhere in order to get him one more day. Wouldn't you? It wasn't a clear cut case, and I made that clear with the vote (which is what triggered Mantis's scumdar

Anyway, reading over all everyone's thoughts on the day, I'm suspicious of VoFW for flying under the radar once the game started. And I'm not putting much weight to the "it's a party" thing. It could be true, but at least 50% of the time that 'real world' stuff comes up, it's a ploy to pull the wool over town's eyes.

My point is that MY role pm says nothing about scum being defeated. Therefore I assumed the role pms were all vastly different.VoFW- Day 1 wrote: i hoped the vanilla PM was mass-produced and everyone would recognise the typo.
What VoFW has said is not merely paraphrasing. Mine does not even mention the word win. I am trying to find out if other role pms are similar to either confirm that VoFW has stuffed up, of at least give him some partial clearance.

Def, you may be town, you may be scum, you may be an indie. Vofw, mz and you are pinging several of us right now, but that could radically change when we see who is nk'd tonight.

I think most of us have answered that 'scum' is not used in our pms. The word 'town' is used in mine, as well as 'zombie'. And the win condition is not stated..Magicziggy wrote:VoFW- Day 1 wrote: hi guys what's up?

My Role PM uses the word "win," though it doesn't mention Scum. It says I'm a vanilla Zombie, and I win when all [/i]threats to Town[/i] have been eliminated.Magicziggy wrote:VoFW- Day 1 wrote: hi guys what's up?

Yikes. Hope that's enough of a paraphrase.

Ok. Amok's version puts VoFW firmly back into the pack. I can ignore that line from now on.

Ha! It would certainly change for me if tonight's NK is someone I think is Scum or Indie and they turn out to be just a sweet little ol' Zombie.b.ternarius wrote:Def, you may be town, you may be scum, you may be an indie. I'm changing my mind about a low-number game, by the way. This is definitely getting interesting and fun.

Tea Party vs Zombie Day 2
I've never played a game where gifts are stolen. Just googled the thief role and it doesn't seem to fit. The role appears pro town.

Well, a thief could be pro town. Could a thief be searching for something of importance that town needs to 'win', for example?Magicziggy wrote:I've never played a game where gifts are stolen. Just googled the thief role and it doesn't seem to fit. The role appears pro town.

I'm beginning to feel like he really deserved a bigger crowd.
