Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 5
I am tremendously surprised to be still alive.
The Innsmouth Look finale and dramaz
A mind wrenching sight awaits you as you rise this day. A large shapeless mass of organic tissue is dragging itself round the village square emitting an ear-splitting maddened howl. As it shuffles round you are horrified to see the contorted face of Ksen on what you assume is the front of this monstrosity. It is from his drooling lips that the infernal screaming issues.
The air shimmers and a blonde man in a white robe steps into view. "I am Nyarlathotep. You have all amused me greatly and for that I have decided to let you live." Waving towards the mewling thing he adds "That I will take with me. There are other enjoyments to be had with it"
Ksen was an investigator
Town and b.tern win
Well played all

Outside the ordered universe is that amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the center of all infinity—the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time and space amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes.

The role PMs.
The vanilla one you already know
Feck was not informed of his status as a Don. If he had been viewed he would have gone insane and been subbed out to simulate amnesia. His replacement would not have been given a win condition and would have none. They would not have counted towards either team for parity.

To: charlou Don't Panic Feck ksen
You are a team of investigators from Miskatonic University who have come to see if there is anything behind the rumours of foul and depraved rituals taking place in this remote fishing village.
The truth was more horrible than you ever could have imagined. The local degenerates have been breeding with vile monsters from the sea. You must wipe out this nest of filth and escape with your lives.
Charlou is an experienced arcanist and can counter some of the dark magic that these disgusting creatures are using. Each night she may choose a player whose abilities she wishes to block. Feck, DP and Ksen are all normal researchers. As normal as researchers into the occult come anyway.
Each night you may nominate one of your number to kill a townsperson.

You are the High Priest of Dagon. You can sense the blood of the Deep Ones coursing through a person's veins. Each night you can choose a player to use this ability on. You win when all investigators have been sacrificed

You are the beloved princess. The blood of Dagon himself flows through your veins. Should you be killed the next day round will be skipped as your father vents his wrath by bringing a pall of darkness over Innsmouth.
You win when all investigators have been sacrificed.

You are the protector of the beloved princess, Oblivion. She has the blood of Dagon himself in her veins and should she be killed his wrath will be terrifying. A pall will drop over Innsmouth plunging the town into darkness and causing the next day round not to happen. Instead the next night round will occur directly.
You have two one shot night protections of oblivion only. You may not communicate privately with her. She knows nothing of your existence. You were trained from birth for this, do not fail.
You win when all investigators have been sacrificed

You are Nyarlathotep. You are amusing yourself observing and tinkering with this little play unfolding in Innsmouth.
You are in your human form but on night one you must choose a player to reveal your true form to. This player will lose their sanity and become enraptured by your magnificence. Should you be removed from the game this player will commit suicide. If this player is killed you must reveal your true form to another player in the next available night round. On all other night rounds you may choose a player to kill.
You win if you remain playing until endgame

You are the town guard. Each night you may choose a player whose door you wish to guard for the night protecting them from harm.

You are visited in the night by b. ternarius. She whispers in your ear "Behold Nyarlathotep". Her visage shimmers and begins to change, cycling through infinite forms each more wondrous than the next. The pleasure soon turns to pain as your mind struggles to deal with the things you are seeing. You drop to your knees and are about to lose consciousness when the fantastical display suddenly stops and b.t returns to her original form. She kisses you softly on the forehead and leaves.
You are now bound to Nyarlathotep. Your win condition and abilities are unaffected but should Nyarlathotep be removed from the game your mind will snap and you will commit suicide.

well done b.tern. i'll happily admit i was wrong. Still looks a bit unbalanced but the don effectively dieing if viewed is a weird counter balance to ob.
