I mean your two things that stood out were just such a stretch (verging on utter BS) that no way you'd do that as scum.

Nobody gets me.irretating wrote:I'm around for a bit now. b.tern, I don't get the TR connection of the four players, really. Feck for one has played far far more here than over there.
I got what I thought was a decent town read of feck on day 1. If he's fooled me, kudos to him (and that will mean I will never ever trust him again).
Ob, am I worrying you more than just because it's me? I am trying to play the quintessential pro-town game, I'm not even scrapping with people, and I'm managing my trolley tracking on zigmen.
Might explain my lynch record.
Really, it just seemed plausible to me, because While zigmen pinged a bit, well, he often does early in games I've played with him, then seems to become more town focussed - when he's town. Ksen too, I can never get an early read on him, bound to be a fifty/fifty chance I've misread him.
I'm really trying to be more proactive in this game and the last couple, I have a tendency to let other people do all the analysis, I'd like to change that.

you vastly overestimate my scum game.irretating wrote:You were posting way too badly to be scum

Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 2
the player who bothered me the most today was ksen. I wish I'd tried to get him lynched instead of crumple.
his game so far is very reminiscent of his game in the TR assassins creed game IMO.

Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 2
I don't think so. I saw a solid first day of you as scum (in the game that I was NK'd by both scum and the SK). You tried to lead others around with questions and suggestions to consider the scumminess of other players. The material you worked with was quite credible.oblivion wrote: you vastly overestimate my scum game.
I guess I've never had a scum read of you, that is successful. More common is to be worried about you and scrap with you until I'm convinced you're town.
Yes, ksen should be the vig kill, if we have one.oblivion wrote:the player who bothered me the most today was ksen. I wish I'd tried to get him lynched instead of crumple.

The prob with your game this game (if you are town) is that you had a clanger with your day 1 vote, the rationale (or lack thereof) for it and also leaving your vote there.b.ternarius wrote:Nobody gets me.irretating wrote:I'm around for a bit now. b.tern, I don't get the TR connection of the four players, really. no, my game was palpably different and a number of players picked up on it. And when people FoS me when I'm scum, I tend to back off. When I'm town, I scoff at worst and directly engage at best, unless the person is a total pest about it.irretating wrote:I don't think so. hi oblivion.oblivion wrote:oh hi ksen!
went and took my son to Transformers this evening. it was actually the best of the three I think.
So what's bothering you about me? I don't think we go a single game where you don't think I'm scum. I don't think you've ever trusted me.
Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 2
Even though he flipped town, I think the crumple lynch was the right decision under the circumstances. I'm intrigued about the UT/oblivion connection but not sure whether it's okay to discuss, given what UT's hinted at?
UT, I'm tending to agree re Feck.
irre, I recommend a review of Feck's posts in isolation.

Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 2
Lynch vote is all the townies have. So, I absolutely don't get this voting Ob to let town win, or the no lynch vote. Good that we didn't go ahead with that.

No, there have been games where I was sure you were town, though possibly not on day 1. I usually push you a little on day 1 because I can sometimes get a good read. This time, I didn't push. Kinda the opposite. I've learned that ksen who's quietly moving around the edges is not town ksen.

That game wasn't one of my best. I wasn't paying a huge amount of attention, but I did go back and re-read that first day seeing as that was scum oblivion in action.oblivion wrote:no, my game was palpably different and a number of players picked up on it. OK, I will do, charlou. It could possibly be telling that feck didn't actually step up to do some gib-style triangulation (and I mean when feck was around, not at the moment I suggested it, I do concede that he might need to sleep a couple of hours a day).charlou wrote:Even though he flipped town, I think the crumple lynch was the right decision under the circumstances. Re: The Innsmouth Look Day 2
It was town's chance to have control of when the double night happens. Now scum get to decide whether it is tonight or not. And then town will have to decide again tomorrow whether to precipitate it or see if scum will do it.
And every delay puts us closer to endgame, and a time when scum will get to remove two players from the game when it matters most to them.

heh. this is one of the few roles that I simply won't use in gamessince I learned from experience how un-fun it is to be. It's a real downer knowing that your effect on the game is bad for your team.
The other roles I won't use are genrally acknowleded to be bastard GM roles. For some reason the beloved princess isn't seen that way.
