this is going to be a really quiet night isn't it, post wise? Did any of the responses to your outing raise any flags? for me it was zigmen and b.tern that kind of stood out. But on a reread I might add feck and ksen to that list. Both were very accepting and not very curious, especially feck is usually very keen to figure out the game design and flavor.

zigmen and b.tern don't trouble me nearly as much as ksen or feck. and athene still gives me fits. Irre worries me too. but I can't see both feck and her as scum given the whole triangulation thing she tried with him.

It just struck me that all four players you've named as suspicious have played a lot of games at TR, and know raven/oblivion's mafia style very well. I wonder if that's one thing you're picking up in our responses? Because I for certain felt relieved when oblivion outed her weird role, because then her day one posts made sense instead of just sounding like she was going into a depression or ill or summat.

Oblivion, it's true, I thought you were losin' it yesterday. :D

Ob has played here for a couple of years at least now, so we know her style fairly well. I'll admit that I don't know you or ksen or athene's style as well as I'd like. Feck has played a lot more over here than at TR so I'm feeling pretty sure we have a right to mistrust him at this point.

It is going to suck when I eventually draw a jester role.

hmm. my ratz style is not quite the same as my TR style. I think I was playing more my TR game (circa summer 2010) than my ratz game on day 1.

In all probability one or more of your four suspects is scum. It just seemed to me that there isn't equal reason to suspect them, and the TR mafia connection seemed to me to be possibly influencing your reaction.

Also, you seem to suspect me as soon as I turn up in a game, whether I'm scum or not, or that has been my perception.

And I'm very curious about how this dynamic duo situation affects the game overall.

You think? It seemed really off to me, with occasional reversions.

I was trying to be off and to piss people off. So I was playing in the mode I had after damian stopped playing. there was a hole in tr mafia for a while, and I semi-intentionally filled it. I had to stop myself from being as abrasive as I wanted to be yesterday.

I didn't want to be protected last night, so I played to avoid that. when the game is over I want to know if it worked.

I figured playing badly enough to be lynched would backfire and people would assume I was a jester.

You are probably right, they would think jester.

I wasn't a mafia player while damien was playing, just read some of the games he played.

I don't think scum will nk you tonight. Especially with the UT part of the role still a bit mysterious.

I'm around for a bit now. b.tern, I don't get the TR connection of the four players, really. Feck for one has played far far more here than over there.

I got what I thought was a decent town read of feck on day 1. If he's fooled me, kudos to him (and that will mean I will never ever trust him again).

Ob, am I worrying you more than just because it's me? I am trying to play the quintessential pro-town game, I'm not even scrapping with people, and I'm managing my trolley tracking on zigmen.

It's partly because you were blocked and we may be missing a scum kill last night. It's also quite possible that the scum kill target was protected, and in fact IME that happens a lot more often than the night 1 block being luck. Hopefully after tonight we'll know more about what sort of kill a bullet to the back of the head is.

how the hell did you get a town read off me yesterday?
