r.c. to me looks scummier than Athene at the mo, that is why my vote is on him and not on her. But to be perfectly honest, no single post is screaming scum to me, all of my FOSes are rather weak at present.

Why?

I've played scum with borealis and I recall a particular game where she put a 'joke' vote on another player and then never went back to change it despite better targets presenting themselves. IME scum borealis is more likely to make insincere votes and stick to them, than town borealis.

Interesting, because I didn't interpret her vote as a "joke" vote. What do you think about Feck doing precisely that, though?

Thoughts on the first few pages so far

Linus voting for crumple to be mayor because she is new.

It doesn't quite make sense to me. If a new player is scum he/she would probably be coached by an experienced scum player in case of a tie so wouldn't make much of a difference to town whether they vote an experienced or a new scum player as mayor. If the mayor is townie you would rather it be an experienced player. So I don't get Linus's logic of voting for a new player.
Athene whiteknights Linus but doesn't provide any solid reasoning. Then you have a bunch of players Fosing Athene and Linus, none of whom show any obvious signs of scumminess.

I agree that I didn't contribute much in the previous rationalia game, but that was my first game here and I have been online just for an hour or so today. Give some time folks .

It is possible to have a hunch of who is scummy on day 1 but no way can any one be certain. So I don't quite understand where diva is coming from. To be so persistent on me being scummy based on 3 posts of mind seems really odd. Is this some sort of revenge for having killed you at Ratskep .

I'll give it a go, she pinged a bit for me as well and leaving her vote on him all day while saying that it was just to get a bw over so we could look elsewhere seems iffy.

From personal experience, I can say that Linus sating that newbies not getting NK'd early is probably true. I'm voting Zigmen for sticking with his vote on Linus. Linus' first thought went towards NK instead of just saying getting killed is the reason why Zigmen's lynch vote is on Linus. I some how don't buy that.

I did think athene was acting odd, but her and ob seemed to settle things out and that often doesn't happen if one is scum, so i'm trusting their reads on each other atm.

I don't think Athene was acting odd. She comes across as reasonable and logical, which I treat as role-neutral for her (though I must admit I don't remember any of Athene's scum games). What do you mean "settle things out"?
